Mrs. Virgil (Emily) Pollifax of New Brunswick, New Jersey, was a widow with grown children. She was tired of attending her Garden Club meetings. She wanted to do something good for her country. This first in the series sends Emily on her first case after she successfully persuades a skeptical CIA recruitment officer that she is the best person for the job.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Unexpected Mrs. Pollifax to be better than the print version?

I do not have the time I would like to sit and read a book. So I now just order audiable books. I wanted something light to read. So I ordered the first in the series. Then, a month or so later I ordered the second in the series. Found both quite enjoyable.

What did you like best about this story?

It was nice story and kept me interested

What about Barbara Rosenblat’s performance did you like?

Her voice is very easy to listen to

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

The Unexpected Mrs. Pollifax, you will never see her coming

    Any additional comments?

I would recommend this series to anyone who want a light mystery.
