To everyone at Meridian High School, Michael Vey is an ordinary 14-year-old. In fact, the only thing that seems to set him apart is the fact that he has Tourette's syndrome. But Michael is anything but ordinary. Michael has special powers. Electric powers....

This was a good story and should be worth your time. The reader was a bit grating - definitely NOT a Scott Brick - but I have heard worse, and this one didn't make me turn off the story. This is all in all a good story. You will should like it. I look forward to the next book...

Why we think it’s a great listen: Never before has an author’s narration of his fiction been so important to fully grasping the book’s impact and global implications. Taking us from Afghanistan in the final days of its monarchy to the present, The Kite Runner is the unforgettable story of the friendship between two boys growing up in Kabul. Their intertwined lives, and their fates, reflect the eventual tragedy of the world around them.

    Joseph says: "A storyteller's story"
    "Couldn't wait to hear more"
    Overall

First of all, the narration was fantastic. Second of all, the story was extremely compelling. It provided my mind's eye with a glimps into a world that makes me even more thankful for this place we call home. I did not reget buying this one, and I will listen to it again.

A storm struck on the night Laura Shane was born, and there was a strangeness about the weather that people would remember for years. But even more mysterious was the blond-haired stranger who appeared out of nowhere - the man who saved Laura from a fatal delivery. Years later - after another bolt of lightning - the stranger returned.

Barry says: "One of Koontz' best, entirely enjoyable."
    "A good read"
    Overall

This was a good mystery. I got a little lost in the time sequences but not very and not enough for me to move on to something else. The reader was good too. This one should not disappoint.

Why we think it’s a great listen: How do you one-up a book that’s already a global literary phenomenon? Hire Simon Vance to (flawlessly) interpret the loves, lives, and murders of Sweden’s cold and secret-filled world. A spellbinding amalgam of murder mystery, family saga, love story, and financial intrigue. It's about the disappearance 40 years ago of Harriet Vanger, a young scion of one of the wealthiest families in Sweden.

Pamela Murphy says: "COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN"
    "This is a good one!"
    Overall

I was into the story from the onset and the reader was very good. The story is set in Sweden, so the names of the towns were different. Other than that, was a very good story and very well read. I would recommend this one!
