Victorian romance mixes seamlessly with elegant prose and biting wit—and werewolves—in Gail Carriger’s delightful debut novel. Soulless introduces Alexia Tarabotti, a parasol-wielding Londoner getting dangerously close to spinster status. But there are more important things than finding a husband. For Alexia was born without a soul, giving her the ability to render any vampire or werewolf completely powerless.

Would you listen to Soulless again? Why?

I would revisit this book again for the joy of the narration. It was by far my favorite audio book to date. I couldn't be more pleased or recommend this book enough.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Soulless?

This book kept me wide eyed and giggling continuously... The romantic development was great fun, and the teasing was insane.

What does Emily Gray bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Emily's accents and fluctuations gave more atmosphere and fun to the story... It was such a great escape.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Many parts of this book surprised and delighted me. Great twists and approaches to an old genera made this fun and new.

    Any additional comments?

You simply must listen to this audio book. It is amazingly unique and great fun.
