After a slow summer of chasing low-level skips for her cousin Vinnie's bail bonds agency, Stephanie Plum finally lands an assignment that could put her checkbook back in the black. Geoffrey Cubbin, facing trial for embezzling millions from Trenton's premier assisted-living facility, has mysteriously vanished from the hospital after an emergency appendectomy. Now it's on Stephanie to track down the con man. Unfortunately, Cubbin has disappeared without a trace, a witness, or his money-hungry wife. Rumors are stirring that he must have had help with the daring escape...or that maybe he never made it out of his room alive.

If you’ve listened to books by Janet Evanovich before, how does this one compare?

This is not Janet Evanovich's best book in the Plum series, but it was still a lot of fun.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Lorelei King?

To me she IS the voice of Stephanie Plum!

I don't have a character to accent, but I enjoyed listening to this. As the child of an Irish-woman from Dublin, I've never been able to tell the difference in the accents of the north and south of Ireland. this was helpful and fun to listen to.

For millennia, fresh olive oil has been a necessity - for food, medicine, beauty, and religion. Today's researchers continue to confirm the remarkable, life-giving properties of true extra-virgin, and "extra-virgin Italian" has become the highest standard of quality. But what if this symbol of purity has become deeply corrupt?

I listened to this book in my car and really enjoyed it! Tom Mueller kept the subject fresh and relevant by introducing the reader to the history, and people (globally) that make olive oil the "liquid gold" that we consume. I will never buy a bottle again without reading the label. And I intend to educate myself on the flavor profiles of oil. This book is for the scholar, book-lover, agronomist, economist, traveler, foodie, and the casual cook alike.

The last time Sophie saw sexy P.I. Anatoly Darinsky, he practically danced a jig when she waved goodbye; a normal reaction for a man who'd nearly bought the farm trying to protect her from her own foolishness. What are the chances he'd agree to take incriminating pictures of her sister's philandering husband? Or that he'd let her tag along, you know, for research?

My goodness, never has it been such a struggle to let someone read a book to me. This was so dry and boring, I never got to part 2. I wanted to read the whole thing for the great information (much of it is filled with great information), but it was so written (and) read in so unenjoyable a manner, I decided I didn't need to know that bad.
