    Story

I really like this series. At the beginning of this book I didn't like Tegan much I thought that he was too harsh with Elise, but in the end I think he maybe my favorite so far. Elise Chase has left the darkhaven that she was living she is a widow and after the death of her only son who went rogue after getting hooked on crimson the drug that Ben made that drug that turned vampires rogue her son was killed by her former brother in law Sterling she made a promise to hunt minions and kill as many as she can. Elise has psychic powers she can hear what humans are saying. Tegan lost his breedmate to the Rogues, or he thought it was rogues 500 yrs ago and still he can't forgive them or himself. He feels he should have been there to protect her. The only way he exists is to focus totally on fighting the Rogues who threaten his people. Not that his people really appreciate the men of the Order. Tegan finds Elise being attacked by Rogues, he saves her and follows her home where he discovers she is hunting and killing minions by herself. Tegan is also shocked at her appearance and how she is living he thought she was still in the darkhaven she has not fed and her power is killing her slowly. Elise has stumbled on a rare book desperately wanted by Marik, the leader of the Rogues. Rescuing her from the Rogues one more time Tegan takes her to the Order. Everyone is trying to understand the old diary she has found. Elise is willing to do whatever it takes to help the Order Tegan is so rude and crass with her trying to scare her off because he has some kind of feeling for her so his answer is to treat her like dirt when she goes to him for help. I loved how this book flowed and I loved the chemistry between Tegan and Elise. This book was very well written (read) as I listened to it. This book had a lot of action and I don't want to put to many spoilers in this review. We also meet some new members to the Order that I am looking forward to reading about. If you like hot male vamps I would recommend you read this series.

Adrian Browns life just got turned upside down for the good. Adrian has watched his sister and brother and their friends meet and fall in love and have kids and he wants that for himself. Gillian Forrester spent her life spent her life taking care of her nephew who she adopted, because her sister gave him to her when she had him she never told him who the father was on her death bed thirteen years later she drops a bomb. Gillian does the right thing and tries to contacts Adrian she goes to Brody's shop and drops her contact info off. Adrian acts like she is a groupie or someone looking for charity. This was a really good book that I listened to it was well written "read" and I enjoyed it. I also enjoyed the fact that the Brown family is close and have really good friends. Sparks fly between Gillian and Adrian is immediately attracted to this sexy woman with the heavenly British accent. Gillian can't stop thinking about the sexy rocker who's going to be a regular part of her son's life now. But Gillian has secrets in her past that make it hard for her to open up, and Adrian has a lifestyle that makes it hard to trust. Can they each overcome their issues and make a relationship work? This book had a lot of emotions Gillian learning to share Myles and Adrian learning the meaning of co parenting and not buying Myles things that he has to work for because he can. Music is important to both Adrian and Gillian, plays a big role in their lives as she is a trained classical pianist and even Myles has a band and plays bass and they played together. I really like this series although I am not sure if I will read the next book Raven is a b*tch.

Strong, beautiful and intelligent with a dry sense of humor, Sarah bears her own marks she has a birth mark on her face that she hides under big hats. This was a good book better than the last one to me. Charles has been in love with Gideon since the war and although the two only had sex once they still loved each other, but where to afraid to say anything to each other. The conflict is mostly centered around Gideon's coming to grips with his experiences and injuries in the war, and the insecurity and hesitance between the two men to fully accept their erotic feelings. The conflict is believable and tightly interwoven with the developing sexual and romantic relationship. Charles and Sarah are both so very open hearted and unselfish in their coming together to reach out to Gideon. I love reading and listening to menage this book was hot and well written "read". This book was filled with a lot of emotions Sarah learning that it's ok to love two men and the two men learning to love each other and her. Charles gave her the courage to be her own person and be herself. This book was really good and I am looking forward to reading the rest of this series and I am hoping that it is as hot as this one.

Nat and Alecia are always looking for a sexual thrill and a third in their bed at a party for Ian and Sophie they meet Gregory Anderson (Palu). Gregory has spent the last seven years sailing the world he is half Polynesian and he doesn't fit in either world. In the beginning they used him to blackmail her father and in return they were threatened with blackmail from someone who wants to be their third. I love reading this series, but I didn't feel as connected to the character's in this book as I was in the last one's. The book did have some hot sex scenes and I love a good m/m/f story. I didn't like Alecia's father he was bully who used money to control his daughter and her husband. This book was well written (read) as I listened to it on audio. I am looking forward to reading or listening to the next book in this series.

I really like reading or listening to this series. Frederick Thorne, Duke of Ashland, has been in love with Brett Haversham for years. Brett was friends with Freddy's brother Bertie in the war and during that time he fell in love with Anne who was Bertie's fiancé. Freddy has finally come home after a long absence to take the title of Duke of Ashland that he was born into. He was waging a war within. He had grown up with Anne, and loved her madly, but he also had feelings for his good friend Brett. He had been making sure Brett received the care he needed to fully recover from all his injuries. Brett needed to be united with the woman he knew his friend loved his love, Anne. Freddy took it upon himself to arrange for them to all be in the same location so his plans could begin to unfold. This book lacked something for me it was less intense as the others that I have read in this series. The sex scenes in the book was ok not as hot as they were in the other books. I didn't like Freddy's mother although I can see why she disliked Anne and her mother. Overall this book was just ok. I am looking forward to reading the rest of this series.

    Story

I really love this series this book was not as good as the last one. Ella Tipton, manager of a small café owned by Erin from the previous Brown Sibling books, has been through hell and back. She was attacked and nearly killed by her ex and has spent the last several years rebuilding her life and getting back on her feet. She's a tough lady but still suffers from the fallout of the attack now and then. Although romance is not on the menu she has a crush on Andrew Copeland, longtime friend to the Brown family. He stops by the café often and aside from some light flirting their friendship is pretty casual. But that doesn't stop Ella from fantasizing now and then. Andrew Copeland has had his share of women. They've come and gone through the years but he's had a special attraction to Ella for a long time. But the time has just never been right to make a move. Ella has been through a lot of personal trauma and so he's kept his distance romantically, only offering friendship and support when he can. He's watched her grow and he knows she's something special. When he offers to teach her some self defense techniques Ella accepts. Spending time getting physical sends their mutual attraction into overdrive and bumps their relationship up to a whole new level. This book also gives us updates on Todd, Erin and Ben and their baby as well as what's going on with their families especially Ben's father. Cope has a reputation as being a ladies man but he is always quick to point out that he's not a jerk who treats women badly. Although he's never settled down and committed, he's still a decent guy and respectful of the women he's been with. But Ella moves something in him and he soon realizes he's ready to leave that lifestyle behind. With a lot of heart to heart with his buddies, Cope decides Ella is the one. I think that these two made a prefect couple they were always willing to help their friends and family. You also learn that there is so much more to these two with giving each other little notes and poems and drawings I thought that it was really sweet. This book was really well written (read) as I listened to it on audio. I love his series and am looking forward to listening to the next book in this series.

This book was hotter than the first one I love this series. Maggie loves her husband, Phillip, they have been married 3 months and their is no spark in the bedroom. Maggie also adores her husbands best friend Jonathan and is really happy to see him when he comes for a visit. Maggie suppresses her inhibitions and tries to fulfill Phillips many sexual fantasies. When Jonathan's light flirting becomes more provocative, Maggie realizes that not only does she love Phillip, but she is also falling hard for Jonathan. Mortified and unnerved by her emerging feelings, Maggie refuses to consider bringing Jonathan into their bed, even if it is something that Phillip and Jonathan strongly desires. Jonathan Overton adores Phillip's wife, Maggie. But it is not only Maggie that has captured his heart, but Phillip as well. When his feelings of adoration are returned, he counts himself one of the luckiest men in the world. While Maggie balks at having Jonathan as a third in her marriage bed, she doesn't hesitate to show him independently how much she loves and desires him. Jonathan wants more, but secretly feels deep down that he is unworthy. This was a really good hot sexy book and I loved listening to it. The book was very well read and I loved listening to it the narrators voice was great. When Maggie is attacked Jonathan blames himself, he thinks he is cursed because of something he did in the war. In this book you get to see how close the men are to those that they served in the war with and also you get in update on Kate, Tony and Jason. I love reading menage M/M/F and this book was really good and I can't wait to read the rest of this series and all of their kinky friends.

This book was picked for me in a menage pick it for me challenge and I must say well done. I was surprised and I wasn't sure of this series, because I did read the prequel to this book and it was ok, this book made up for that. Jason and Tony served in the war together and have always loved Kate and knew that they wanted to share her. Let me just say now that the sex scenes in his book were hot as hell. Kate Collier is slowly recovering from the brutal rape that has left her a social outcast among her so-called peers. Determined to not take any more lovers, she's started a dress shop in order to try to support herself. Slowly, Kate is reinventing herself, until Jason and Tony reenter her life and throw it completely off kilter again. Being in public where she runs the risk of being seen by the men who were part of her rape is terrifying for Kate. They'd returned to London from the continent to claim Kate as their wife. They are unprepared for the changes that have happened to the carefree woman she'd been. Having been abroad, they had no knowledge of what had happened to cause her fear but they intend to find out. Kate may believe that she can't marry Jason and Tony because of what had been done to her, but they intend to prove differently with a little help from Kate's niece, Veronica they get their woman. This was not my first time reading Ms. Kane's work this book was well written "read" as I listened to this one. The sex scenes were hot and had me throbbing at times. After wooing Kate and winning her heart and dealing with the man who used her she has learned to give in to the relationship. If you like historical hot reads than I recommend that you read this book.

Brody Brown is a tattooed shop owner alpha male who raised his brother and sister when their parents died, who is use to taking care of everyone. Elise, a former ballerina, and now owner of dance studio, moves in across the street from Brody, hoping to establish a quiet life for her and her young daughter Rennie. When Brody is hit by a hit by a hit and run drunk driver Elise comes to his aid the two becomes friends and then lovers. This is book two of the Brown series and this maybe my favorite one Brody Brown is hot and very caring this book was well written "read" as I listened to it. Elise is an independent, dedicated single mother who is determined to leave her past behind and create a happy, safe home for herself and her young daughter. Although she has been through hell and back, Elise is strong and seeks no pity from her friends. Young and sexy she discovers that wounds from the past have not permanently scarred her spirit or her sensual nature. I loved Elise and her family her parents were loving and only wanted her to be happy. Raven who had an friends with benefits relationship with Brody needed to be slapped she didn't want him when she had him and now that he is serious with someone else she wants him. I also loved the fact the Browns are a close knit family and they have loving friends who are there for each other. This is a well written series and I can't wait to read about the rest of this crew. The also showed the progress of Erin, Todd and Ben and I am happy for them. I a can't wait to learn more about the Brown's.
