Cleverly crafted story about true love and many "what ifs". A love story that you will remember despite - or because of! - its stunning end.
The abridging was well done, no obvious gaps and the narration was excellent.
Enjoyed this one a lot. The male point of view makes for a nice twist, gives more room to experiment.
Narration is excellent. - Looking forward the next book in the series.
Lovely plot of two people who haven’t be that fortunate recently and fall in love around Christmas time. Short but entertaining with good narration.
Another “chapter” of the love story of overweight Liss and super-sexy rock star Joe. Unfortunately way not that original than the first book. However, the narration is better than in in the first book.
Very brief romantic novella about a plus-sized woman and a super-sexy (slim) rock star who fall in love with each other.
Another good delivery from Sandra Brown. The only drawback is the very poor audio quality. Needs to be remastered, not today's standard.
It's Christmas, so forget about a realistic plot! It's a single mother's dream come true on Christmas. Worth listening if you can spare a little time around the holidays.
Somewhat loveless assortment of characters in a pretty simple plot. Occasionally entertaining, however, in parts also long-winded. - It is actually a “wild ride,” unfortunately not that kind I had expected.
Narration is the better part of this audio book.
This novel its a highlight in its genre: Credible characters and for an erotic novel a fairly profound plot. And the two narrators did an excellent job!
The plot startet out well, the introduction of the characters was OK, but with the introduction of the "mysterious" woman the story lost itself. Somehow all the characters along with the plot didn't get any depth but rather got stuck. There is some "action" toward the end, however, it all seems very constructed. For me the book felt very long, I was happy when it ended.
Narration was OK but not outstanding.
I love reading romance novels as the plot is so simple that you can stop and pick up at any time again. And most of them manage to conjure a "feel good" feeling while reading them.
However, "Wallbanger" was a total disappointment to me. It lacked any plot and had no timing at all. I also didn't like that type of narration at all: exaggerated and hysterical
I was happy when the book finally ended.
