Few companies in history have ever been as successful and as admired as Google, the company that has transformed the Internet and become an indispensable part of our lives. How has Google done it? Veteran technology reporter Steven Levy was granted unprecedented access to the company, and in this revelatory book he takes listeners inside Google headquarters - the Googleplex - to explain how Google works.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I HAVE recommended this book to friends. They would hear me laughing as I heard stories about the early days and I would re-tell them the best I could until I just said

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, I enjoyed listening to it over several sittings. In on sitting, I think it might be too much to fully appreciate and enjoy.

    Any additional comments?

A great story, fun tales, and very good value for the book. I'm VERY glad I got this one.

Six months after its American introduction in 1985, the Yugo was a punch line; within a year, it was a staple of late-night comedy. By 2000, NPR's Car Talk declared it "the worst car of the millennium." And for most Americans that's where the story begins and ends. Hardly. The short, unhappy life of the car, the men who built it, the men who imported it, and the decade that embraced and discarded it is rollicking and astounding, and it is one of the greatest untold business-cum-morality tales of the 1980s.

If you could sum up The Yugo in three words, what would they be?

See the title which I wrote before I even knew what the first question would be.

  • Adventures of Huckleberry Finn: A Signature Performance by Elijah Wood

A Signature Performance: Elijah Wood becomes the first narrator to bring a youthful voice and energy to the story, perhaps making it the closest interpretation to Twain’s original intent.

What made the experience of listening to Adventures of Huckleberry Finn: A Signature Performance by Elijah Wood the most enjoyable?

Wood's accents and performance made this book come alive more than I could have imagined. I've read this book many times before and loved it, but his performance was just fantastic! He spoke as the characters so well that I never had trouble knowing who was speaking and sometimes even forgot it was HIM doing the reading!

What other book might you compare Adventures of Huckleberry Finn: A Signature Performance by Elijah Wood to and why?

Dune, as read by a cast (mostly!) is how I'm going to answer. In that audiobook, many actors play the parts for some parts of the story, but not all. That made it sometimes difficult and the main narrator did not always distinguish the characters on his own.

However, Wood in Huck Finn did a FANTASTIC job of making each character come to life and seem like each character had its own voice actor. This book has shown me what all Audible books should be like. I am definitely going to get more of the Signature books if they are all as good as this!

Which character – as performed by Elijah Wood – was your favorite?

Jim, most definitely, Jim. I always liked him, but Wood brought him to life in a way I didn't think possible.

    Any additional comments?

I am SO GLAD I got this book, just fantastic. I only wish I had listened sooner. I'm recommending this to my friends to listen to as it's just a great listen. Thank you Audible and thank you to Elijah Wood for this performance.
