After reading other reviews I thought that to buy this particular version of the book is a bad idea. But I bought it anyway, because I've read good reviews about it on the other websites. And I'm NOT sorry at all...

The narration is good. I've had no problems listening or understanding ANY part of this book.

The book itself is Excellent! Considering that it was written more then half a century ago, it still presents the idea that is valid and useful today.

The well marketed book "The Secret" is nothing more then a newer and much shorter version of this same book. The only difference is that "The Secret" presents you information openly (because it published today), and "Think and Grow Rich" pushes you toward the same idea without naming it (because it was published "back then", and the author probably didn't liked the idea of spending the rest of his life in mental institution).

Would recommend this book to anyone who wants to take control of his/her life. Listen to it it'll do you good (or in the worst case - nothing at all).

The "facts" presented in this book, are fictitious to say the least. The author wrote about things she think she knows, but doesn't. It is like hearing what other people say about other countries they've never been in. And then combine all this "knowledge" into a book.Mix it with "Oh, I'm So Important", then sprinkle it with "Only I know what's best for you", and you'll have the idea of what this book is all about.

Of course not. I like fashion. Fashion is fun, and anyone, at some point in life, has to find his or hers style (or suffer the consequences :-). I would absolutely love to listen to a GOOD book in this genre.

The author wynes about her hard life and her childhood for a good first half of this book. I mean at some point she actually starts sobbing... The only option for me to "get out" of this sobbing was to skip to the next chapter, or turn it off completely.You however, have a third option - Do Not purchase this book!

The only purpose, I believe, this book was written for - is an advertisement of the author services. There are many books of this sort have been written lately. Few of them I've read. A good book is a very good advertisement indeed. But a poorly written one will fire back. I think it is a common knowledge, that any person, who thinks of him/herself as a writer should posses.

I wanted an introductory book into social engineering, and this book does this job perfectly. There is an explanation of all the sides of the art, and direction for further info if you're interested to dive deeper into anything in particular.
Many examples / real stories makes this listen even easier to follow. Would recommend this audio to anyone.
Additionally, I've discovered that like most people, I was stupid enough to have the same password / user-name on many sites. And how easy it is for anyone (unfriendly, or just bored) to mess up my life. Well, not anymore... or at least not that easy. That alone definitely worth a "credit".

First the narration is great. Second, my drive to work, and then back takes roughly an hour. And it was most pleasurable 2 hours a day, that I've had for some time now.

Yes, in a sense of how interesting the story is. And: no, because, (apart from the book length) it takes time to absorb all the philosophical ideas presented in this book.Also, there is nothing new, but a common sense, and a great story. :-)

Do not place this book in your "Wish List". Download it now. Listen to it. You will not be disappointed.

No. This book is not about tea, nor Japanese tea ceremony, or anything else physically linked to tea as a drink. But this book may begin to teach you about a mindset required, in order to begin to understand Japanese tea ceremony. Sounds complicated? It's not. Read the book, you'll know what I mean. :-)

This book is NOT about planting, growing, preparing or drinking tea. Furthermore it is VERY brief history of tea.This book is a colorful description and history of suffering and humiliation of Indian natives, caused by English West-India Company in Assam province of India.

I enjoyed James Adams performance very much. If it wasn't for him I'd probably wouldn't listen to the rest of the book.

If your interested in tea production, culture, methods of preparation, or a complete history of this plant - this is NOT a book for you.But if you just need to waste your credit on something, or you are interested in history of Assam province in India - buy the book.

I was expecting a dry and boring book, instead I've enjoyed every minute of it. Excellent listen! Gives you a complete understanding of the key principles of economics, and what is happening in the world right now. Packed with information, so in order to absorb everything, I've had to re-listen some parts over. But that's probably because I was driving at the moment. And last, but not least the narration is superb! Would definitely recommend this book.

There is an old joke about reasoning, logic and facts:

The bartender asks the guy if he knows what logic is?
The guy says - "no".
So, he asks him if he got matches in his pocket?
The guy says - "yes".
"Well," explains bartender - "If you have matches, then maybe you are a smoker, and if you are a smoker, then maybe some times you go to the bar, and if you go out regularly then maybe some day you'll meet a nice girl, and you'll marry her, and you'll have kids...Got it?"
Guy walks to his friend, and asks him if he got matches?
"No" - answers a friend.
"That means you'll never have kids!" - says the guy.

The point of this joke here, is that the author uses same "logic" in this book.
I'm not a "fact hunter", but books like this one MUST present the correct information.

Excellent listen for anyone who wants to "unwind" his/her brain a little. Enjoyed very much the story AND the narration.
This is the first book after many, that I've listened to beyond the point of arrival home, and then in bed, and then with the morning cup of coffee.
Would recommend it to anyone.

Bill Bryson's "A Short History of Nearly Everything" - is SO much better! She's not covering half of the things Bill Bryson does. And IF you'll make yourself to listen to it once, you will not be able to make yourself listen to it second time. On the positive side you'll be more concentrated on the road.
