Jonquinette has always been nervous around men, but on the weekends her alter ego, Jude, goes on intense sexual escapades. When Jonquinette seeks the help of Dr. Marcella Spencer, the psychiatrist Zane originated in her best-selling novel Addicted, Jude’s response is to go on a sexual rampage. Meanwhile, Jonquinette becomes interested in her new neighbor, Mason, but Jude has no intention of letting Jonquinette fall in love—not when Jude’s having so much fun.

Zane is very well known for her sexy novels. But underneath them all are deep, moving stories with very well-rounded characters.

If you are easily offended, then books by Zane are not for you. But, if you don't mind a good story with really good sex thrown in, then these are books for you. "Addicted" and "Nervous" (the sequel to "Addicted") were awesome. I highly recommend them both.

Awesome narration by Nicole Small. I will seek out other audiobooks with her as narrator.

Nate Walker has never shied away from the hard road. Even when it meant leaving behind his family's wealth - and the fiancée who only wanted a rich man. Nothing was going to stop him from opening his own five-star restaurant.

And he was on his way, until his car broke down on a dark road in the Adirondacks, leading him right to White Caps Inn - and Frankie Moorehouse.

In order to give this book a chance, you have to forget the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. Next, you have to forget that Jessica Bird and J.R. Ward are one in the same. Then, and only then, does this book stand a chance. Almost impossible for those who love the BDB series, myself included.

"The Rebel" was okay. Good narration by Gayle Hendrix, but the story was uncomfortably slow. If I hadn't used one of my credits, I may not have finished it. On the plus side, I was looking for a light romance, and that's exactly what I got. So, I am very glad that I stuck it out.

Give this one a chance, if you are up for the challenge!

"Being trapped in a bedroom with a woman is a grand thing. Being trapped in hundreds of bedrooms over two thousand years isn't. And being cursed into a book as a love-slave for eternity can ruin even a Spartan warrior's day. As a love-slave, I know everything about women. How to touch them, how to savor them, and most of all, how to pleasure them. But when I was summoned to fulfill Grace Alexander's sexual fantasies, I found the first woman in history who saw me as a man with a tormented past."

Not the greatest narrator. However, I was able to overlook that because I was really interested in the story. Give it a try. I'm glad I did.

    Overall

The narrator killed this one for me. Although I love Kate Reading in other settings, she was a bad choice on this one. I have tried "The Host" several times, only to give up for bad delivery. If I revisit this selection in the future, I will try paperback or ebook, but not the audio.

    Can't win them all.
