A talented songwriter, Shawn Gallagher spends his days lost in reverie and wonder, oblivious to the wiles of women and the ways of the world. He claims that he's content with his life, but his music tells a different story - one of loneliness and desperate longing.

Eugenie Markham is a shaman for hire, paid to bind and banish creatures from the Otherworld. But after her last battle, she s also become queen of the Thorn Land. It's hardly an envious life, not with her kingdom in tatters, her love life in chaos, and Eugenie eager to avoid the prophecy about her firstborn destroying mankind. And now young girls are disappearing from the Otherworld, and no one--except Eugenie--seems willing to find out why.

"Story good but needs to be toned down"
    Overall

I thought the story was very good but I think there was too much explicit sex. I don't want to sound like a prude because I am not but I have a very good imagination and don't need to have every detailed spelled out in explicitly..and on a regular basis. Leaves nothing to the imagination. I would be mortified if my teenage daughter was reading something like this and with no ratings on books, very easy to do.

The book was good as is all of Nora Robert's books but it is hard to envision the man to be "handsome" when he sounds old and feeble

The conclusion of the Mistborn trilogy fulfills all the promise of the first two books. Revelations abound, connections rooted in early chapters of the series click into place, and surprises, as satisfying as they are stunning, blossom like fireworks to dazzle and delight. It all leads up to a finale unmatched for originality and audacity that will leave listeners shaking their heads in wonder, as if awaking from an amazing dream.

Like another reader, because Sanderson finished Jordon's series, I wanted to find out why as well. It was very good and I had no indication it would end the way it did. I would definately recommend it.

Half-vampire Catherine Crawfield is going after the undead with a vengeance, hoping that one of these deadbeats is her father—the one responsible for ruining her mother's life. Then she's captured by Bones, a vampire bounty hunter, and is forced into an unlikely partnership. In exchange for help finding her father, Cat agrees to train with the sexy night stalker until her battle reflexes are as sharp as his fangs. She's amazed she doesn't end up as his dinner…are there actually good vampires?

Stephenie says: "Great series. Worth every credit."

I think the person narrator hurts the book. She sounds like she is 15 so that makes it difficult to listen to at first. Then I australian/english accent is strange sounding but the kicker is the shy guys. When she does the voice of a shy guy, they sound like they are feeble old men. In the next book there is another shy and attractive vet that sounds like he is 80 years old and about to die.

It should be the best time of half-vampire Cat Crawfield’s life. With her undead lover, Bones, at her side, she’s successfully protected mortals from the rogue undead. But though Cat’s worn disguise after disguise to keep her true identity a secret from the brazen bloodsuckers, her cover’s finally been blown, placing her in terrible danger.

    Overall

I really enjoyed this book the most but at the same time, the least. I really enjoyed the story and I enjoy the steamy scenes as much as anyone but I think there is alot more than needed and in addition, a way too graphic.

I am approaching the last book and I am very disappointed there are not more. The books are wonderful and Marsters brings to life. In this book more than any other I think Marsters out does himself. There are so many character in this book and he never misses a beat with distinct seperate voices for each character.

His vast knowledge and magical skills are unfortunately matched by his talent for making powerful enemies and alienating friends. With little more than his integrity left, he accepts an offer of work from Lt. Karin Murphy of Chicago's Special Investigations Unit. He wants to redeem himself in Murphy's eyes and make enough money to quiet his rumbling stomach.

Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden has had a rough couple of weeks. As the only openly practicing professional wizard in the Chicago area, he has squared off against a multitude of supernatural bad guys. Harry has won the day against demons, poltergeists, sorcerers, trolls, vampires, werewolves, and even an evil faerie godmother. You might think nothing could spook him. You would be wrong.

    Overall

The first book was ok. I was a little disappointed but decided to keep trying. The second book was better and I really liked the 3rd one. To me, he started off in the first book as somewhat of a bumbling, untalented wizard but now he has earned up to his reputation. I look forward to more books
