"Dissapointed"
I really like the Deep Black series, but this title predates Deep Black, and is not up to par. I not sure if it's the narration or the attempt to be old Noir style, but it sounded like it wanted to be a Raymond Chandler type, but in modern day, which isn't working. Half way through listening and I wanted anyone interested to know to PASS on this title even at the $4.95 price.
None
No. Do not like his treatment of this title
It's unabridged is both good and bad. May not finish if it doesn't get better soon.
If you've never read Stephen Coonts, pick a different title, try a Deep Black series.
"Disappointed. I hope other titles are better."
Yes, if the price is right. I won't pay full price, will only purchase if title is less then $10.
Linking the current day events in Iran to his story and characters.
Yes, if you've run out of titles from Flynn, Thor, Clancy and other top tier writers, then give Rosenberg a listen, but only if the price is right.
Same as above..... if you've run out of titles from Flynn, Thor, Clancy or Stephen Coonts and other top tier writers, then give Rosenberg a listen, but only if the price is right.
"1st time listener of Eisler, 4 out of 5 stars"
Story was a bit hard to follow at first, but that may have been due being a 1st time listener to a John Rain title. But I really enjoyed the book after I got into it. The best thing I liked was the idea of the 4 trained special ops guys and how they interacted while carrying out their missions and yet never really trusting each other.
Not knowing who was telling the truth or where the next twist was coming from...
Author should leave the voice over work to others, spend a little more $ and hire someone more suited for the work.
moved me...? No.
Can't wait to catch up on the other Eisler titles, especially the Rain series.
He's not quite on the Vince Flynn, Brad Thor level, but he is good.
"Loved it! Flynn can do no wrong."
Rapp Continues Transforming
Continues with the early days of Mitch Rapp back story.
Overall a very good voice artist.
Young Assassin Comes of Age
More Mitch Rapp stories. Audible.com please lower prices of Vince Flynn's back catalog and other Spy genre titles (Stephen Coonts, Tom Clancy, Brad Thor)
"Typical Dekker Style and Story"
Yes. I really like the Military/Espionage genre and this was Dekker's attempt to marry his stylized writing and the Spy type story. He can be a little over the top and this book is no different.
The X Project story thread, the back story of the agency that supplied assassins to all comers for a high price and used experimental drugs and treatments to train them. I'd like to see what Vince Flynn or Stephen Coonts could do with this idea.
Didn't seem forced, natural. Played individual parts very well.
Only if they kept to the spy story arch.
Stars?....don't know who I would cast off the top of my head
Not Dekker's best title, but I did enjoy it.
"Okay, but not the best 'Deep Black' title"
Love the Stephen Coonts series Deep Black and I enjoyed this one okay, but not his best story.
It's been a few books ago, but I don't recall disliking this performance.
no. Not the best story line.
Audible.com needs to provide more lower priced audiobooks in this genre.
"Not bad, not his best either"
not sure
I love most of Brad Thor's titles and he has other titles that are much better.

Somewhat disappointed but, every book is a risk. Other titles by much better.
