I am now on my second listen of Meditations to Change your Brain. The first time I just listened and took notes. Now I am going back and completing the meditations as I listen. I find it very interesting. I have no doubt it will work. Must think positively!

This is a typical Richard Paul Evans read with a message and a happy ending. I must admit I was actually "surprised" by a few of the events in the story which was great. While I enjoyed the story, I really had a hard time with the narrator. I cringed waiting for him to inhale through his nose and lick his lips. There are several parts where I had to stop listening for a while because I was so distracted by the narrator. I prefer when Richard Paul Evans narrates his own books as he does in The Walk.

It is true, Grisham's books tend to be predictable and The Confession is no exception. Considering I am a huge fan of John Grisham and all of his novels, I was not the least bit disappointed with this story. As a matter of fact, the Confession left me questioning my own beliefs regarding the death penalty. My heart went out to Deante Davis and his family. I know I have listened to good story when my emotions take over.

I love to read but have never been interested in literature set during WWII. Unbroken was my first WWII "listen" and it is truely a remarkable read. I found myself captivated by the story. I was drawn to learn more and more about Louie and his life as a POW. I am simply amazed this is a non-fiction book and cannot even begin to fathom how this man survived "the bird." I will be listening to this one again.

I tried to listen to this, but couldn't make it through the first chapter. I even tried skipping around to other chapters, but discovered the content and suggestions sounded as though it was written in the 70's. The author's voice is unpleasant to listen to as well. I was disappointed. This is the only audio title that I wish I could erase.

When you stop to realize that this is an actual account of what a 4 year old boy experienced when undergoing an emergency appendectomy, you will find it to be very compelling. I listened to it in the car on a 3 hour trip. I hadn't quite made it to the end and could not wait for some quiet time to listen to the end.

This book is a favorite for me right now. What I enjoy most about The Power is the soundtrack that accompanies the narrators. It is like going to the movies but not seeing any picture. The music builds to add drama in the appropriate locations. I also enjoy Rhonda Byrne's accent.

If you liked The Walk, you will love Miles to Go. I can hardly wait for book 3. We've only made it to Memphis!
