    Overall

I found this book useful, inspiring, and immediately implementable. It helped me understand myself, my wife, and what I needed to do to improve my marriage. I would make this required reading by law for anyone married on planning to get married. I would recommend this book to anyone.

In Stupid Black Men, Larry Elder takes on the mind-set of those people who always capture the most media attention - as well as masses of public money - people who say that racism is the root of all problems and who end up hurting precisely those they claim to be helping.

"Not even worth a free credit"
    Overall

This book is just plain not good. This is not even from a idealogical point of view. It is just mixed thoughts with little clear vision. I would not recommend it to anyone.

  • The Five Dysfunctions of a Team: A Leadership Fable

    • UNABRIDGED (3 hrs and 45 mins)

In keeping with the parable style, Patrick Lencioni begins by telling the fable of a woman who, as CEO of a struggling Silicon Valley firm, took control of a dysfunctional executive committee and helped its members succeed as a team. Story time over, Lencioni offers explicit instructions for overcoming the human behavioral tendencies that he says corrupt teams. Succinct yet sympathetic, this guide will be a boon for those struggling with the inherent difficulties of leading a group.

    "Good Resource for Aspiring Leaders"
    Overall

I found this book useful in its real world case example of being an effective leader and on evaluating my contributions(negative and positive) to my team. I am not sure I received clear instruction on how to correct my mistakes though. I would recommend it to anyone.
