Yes, I enjoyed listening to this. I had read it but listening to it was different.
The new religion.
Good writing and matched my experiences of Japan. However, I did not care for the reader. If I was not stuck on a plane I would not have finished listening to it.
I kept listening and it threw off my sleepiing pattern. I could not fall asleep to the book as I kept wondering what would happen next.I do not know if it was te story or the narrator that gripped my attention. I highly enjoyed it despite losing sleep.
an excellent story but depressing
the child who took care of the dog
when the main character refused to sell out.
the killing of the dog
this book depressed me and made me lose faith in my fellow human beings.
thought provoking, well done,honest.
I cannot think of one
the steady emotion of the writing.
the old man at the Canadian border.
I recommend this audio book.
A great performance of the story. The story was good too but it could be confusing if I had not heard the previous stories Enders Game and Speaker for the Dead, first
I like the humor that Scalzi brings to his stories. I keep finding myself downloading his books.
This was a good story but for some reason I got bored with it. Why? Dont know.
It is difficult to listen and keep up without the visuals. I do not recommend trying to listen to this. It will leave you going back and fort trying to draw out the diagrams.
I may buy the book in printed format.
The story was interesting except the ending was to clean and happy happy. It felt good for a short period of time to realize that everything worked out but it would have been more effective if it had a sad more realistic ending.
I enjoyed the Australian accent of the reader.
I had heard of this book but had never read it. I could not stop listening to this story. I would eat leave the table and back to listening.
The ending was depressing and a bit melodramatic.
