Popular author Daniel Abraham’s works have been nominated for the Hugo Award and the World Fantasy Award. In The Dragon’s Path, former soldier Marcus is now a mercenary—but he wants nothing to do with the coming war. So instead of fighting, he elects to guard a caravan carrying the wealth of a nation out of the war zone—with the assistance of an unusual orphan girl named Cithrin.

The storie is good but you must really pay attention or you will find yourself rewinding. Good characters but a littel slow paced. Says it is unabridged but major points in the storie are just missing and then glossed over later.

Why did this come out after Overlord?? Otherwise another great Event group novel. Richard Poe is great as ever. The story keeps you going even though if you have overlord you know the ending kinda.
