I liked the book initially but as I listened further it became increasingly graphic, dark and disturbing. There were several themes/topics that actually led to me to decide not to finish the book-they were descriptive violence, cannibalism and several other dark themes. I'm disappointed that the book is over the top with such gratuitous details.

Though very predictable, i really did enjoy it. If you have seen the Disney movie, then you KNOW the story, but the performance was nice and i enjoyed it very much.

I bought the book and then downloaded the audio book-everyone raved about it and I must say the reader/narrator was just awful. He ruined the book, making it sound mundane! I nearly did not finish listening to the book. His reading style was not impressive, I was rather underwhelmed; as many of you know the reader either MAKE or BREAK a story well...he broke it into a million pieces. I barely got through it!

I found the book difficult to follow, I felt as though it started in the middle of a chapter and candidly it seem to go downhill after that,,,I was so underwhelmed that I did NOT finish the book.

Though very short it was a good read, enjoyable and thought provoking. The reader had to make a few enjoyable leaps to comprehend the inferences; it was well written. I do not like foul language when I read and that was the only drawback, I would NOT share this story with my family due to the over use of unnecessary expletives - which disappoints me as I think they would have enjoyed the story.
