The story may be wonderful, however, after listening to this dramatized version of the novel I had to turn it off. The narrator's voice was like finger nails on a chalk board and the multiple voices drove me nuts. Too bad - I think I may just read this one..

    >Goldy Schulz knows her food is to die for, but she never expects one of her best friends to actually keel over when she's leaving a birthday party Goldy has catered. At first, everyone assumes that all the fun and excitement of the party, not to mention the rich fare, did her in. But what looks like a coronary turns out to be a generous serving of cold-blooded murder. And the clever culprit is just getting cooking. When a colleague - a woman who resembles Goldy - is stabbed, and Goldy is attacked outside her house, it becomes clear that the popular caterer is the main course on a killer menu.

What did you love best about The Whole Enchilada: A Novel of Suspense?

I am a huge Diane Mott Davidson fan and am always looking for her next book. This one does not disappoint. Same great characters and lots of adventure. I really enjoy the narrator Barbara Rosenblat - she really brings the characters to life.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Whole Enchilada: A Novel of Suspense?

It had to been to moment in the church where Goldie found Father Pete.

To survive in a game with no rules at all, John Corey must invent a strategy that includes no luck at all. He and the Anti-Terrorist Task Force must stop "The Lion," an alleged Libyan terrorist with the instincts of a wild animal, the bloodlust of a carnivore, and the boldness and speed of a cat of prey.

    Toni says: "Remarkable!"
    "Love the John Corey series!"

Would you consider the audio edition of The Lion's Game to be better than the print version?

I prefer the audio version since I listen to most of my books while driving. I think you get more entwined into the story when listening to it especially if you have a good narrator.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Lion's Game?

The final confrontration between The Lion and John Corey - edge of your seat stuff!!!

What does Scott Brick bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Scott Brick does a fantastic job of narrating this book and really draws you into the personality of the characters.
