    Such a fun story. Well written and an excellent narrator.

    I rather liked the poor gardener, even though his appearance was brief.

    What disappointed you about Blood Rites?

    I didn't like that the book centered around a pornography mogul. Once I got to that bit, I didn't care to hear any more.


    Would you ever listen to anything by Jim Butcher again?

    Probably nothing in this genre.


    Did James Marsters do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

    I would probably enjoy him more if it had been a different book

    Like the Potter series, there's a lot of little details in the first book that may or may not be pertinent in the books to come. The story line was only just beyond the edge of disbelief, so that it was plausible without being

    All of them! He did an excellent job!


    Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yup! Started it in the early afternoon, thinking I would just listen until dinner... ended up dragging my player to the kitchen so I could keep listening while fixing dinner. Begrudgingly turned off to eat dinner. Started up again after getting kiddos to bed and finished up the whole thing! So fun!

    Rewritten it.

    Narrator was better than the book, If given a better book to read, I think she would've been quite nice to listen to.

    I stopped listening to the book part way through because it was so bad. It left me feeling like I'd just wasted my time.
