I love this book! As a teacher and presenter I'm always looking for information on improving my skills. This book absolutely does that. Mr. Hume covers all the aspects of a presentation the pause, the stand, the prop, the voice… and uses historical characters like Lincoln and Churchill for examples of where these became very effective.

I have recommended this book to several of my colleagues, this book is that good.

I enjoyed this Audiobook. The story itself is well written and an intricately woven tale of revenge. The acting of this book was phenomenal. Close your eyes...(not while you're driving) and you can envision the characters with their costumes. I almost missed my exit a few times because I got caught up in the tale.

    Must listen!

I have been wanting to read this book for years, never got around to it. I wanted to see the movie... never got to that either. When I found this Audiobook I finally got my opportunity to receive the story I had been searching for for so long.

What a great performance! Linda Stephens is wonderful in bringing to life that beautiful Georgia drawl, it literally wraps around your ears. The story is wonderful and well written but I truly believe the performance was what really brought it to life for me.

I'm sooo glad I didn't read the book or see the movie before this! I much preferred the images in my head supplemented by Linda's wonderful performance.

    Must Listen again!!!

Listen to this book and send your nonverbal intelligence soaring. Joe Navarro, a former FBI counterintelligence officer and a recognized expert on nonverbal behavior, explains how to "speed-read" people: decode sentiments and behaviors, avoid hidden pitfalls, and look for deceptive behaviors. You'll also learn how your body language can influence what your boss, family, friends, and strangers think of you.

    Story

As a teacher I've relied often on Body language to read the tone of my class, my students and how the message is being received. This book confirmed a lot of what I already knew and expanded my intuition on what I was reading in people.

Very informative. Writer reminds us too many times that he was in the FBI... ok... we get it. But if you can look past this, it's a wonderful audiobook and the supplemental PDF is wonderful.

HIghly recommend if you are in social, retail, education or executive positions.

No one but Stephen King could tell this story about the darkness at the heart of the unknown and our compulsion to investigate the unexplained. With echoes of Dashiell Hammett's The Maltese Falcon and the work of Graham Greene, one of the world's great storytellers presents a surprising tale that explores the nature of mystery itself.

I have been a Stephen King fan for many years. This short story was, in my opinion, not his best.

Usually I am taken down the path with his stories, living in the pages with the characters. This time, though it was well written, I found myself already knowing the ending. Yes, it has a Steven King Twist (Kindle, time paradox), of course it would. But something seemed kind of vanilla at the end.

I'm wondering if the reason I found this story ending somewhat vanilla is because I just finished 11-22-63 which is about time travel and this has a similar ring?

Overall a good story, clever, current. Good performance.

On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

    Story

Since this is my first Audiobook I have really nothing to compare it to but I can say that the voices Craig Wasson uses are the ones I hear in my head when I read Stephen King. I am an AVID Stephen King fan and his writing has always enveloped me. I smell the smells, hear the sounds and the voices, the whole story builds in my head like a movie unfolding.

My only problem with Stephen King's stories was that I never knew what a Maine Accent sounded like, so in my head I replaced it with what can best be described as Brooklyn Canadian (I'm a native New Yorker).

Craig Wasson filled in the missing piece! I get the movie picture going in my head now with the voices (complete with correct accents and raspy quality).

I'm very happy I choose this book to be my first audiobook. If you are a King fan, you are going to LOVE this story and it's NARRATOR!
