Young interior designer Ava O'Shea has no idea what awaits her at the Manor. A run-of-the-mill consultation with a stodgy country gent seems likely, but what Ava finds instead is Jesse Ward - a devastatingly handsome, utterly confident, pleasure-seeking playboy who knows no boundaries. Ava doesn't want to be attracted to this man, and yet she can't control the overwhelming desire that he stirs in her. She knows that her heart will never survive him and her instinct is telling her to run, but Jesse is not willing to let her go. He wants her and is determined to have her.

What disappointed you about Concealed in Death?

This was not one of Robb's best. I was bored and has to listen to it twice, it just didn't grab me. A couple books in this series was borderline boring, this one made the mark.

Would you ever listen to anything by J. D. Robb again?

    Yes, of course!

What about Susan Ericksen’s performance did you like?

She is good and body else and this book would have tanked.

Not sure, but I am always in search for the next book.

Could you see A Proposal for Christmas being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Justin and Libby Denbe have the kind of life you’d find in the pages of a glossy magazine: A beautiful 14-year-old daughter. A gorgeous brownstone on a tree-lined street in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood. A great marriage, admired by all. A perfect life. When investigator Tessa Leone arrives at the crime scene in the foyer of the Denbes’ home, she finds scuff marks on the floor and a million tiny pieces of bright green Taser confetti. The family appears to have been abducted.

What did you like about this audiobook?

I did not enjoy!!! Slow and immature.

How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?

    NO!

Does the author present information in a way that is interesting and insightful, and if so, how does he achieve this?

The story is about adults, but written as the main charters didn't have a clue in life.

What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?

I have listen to the narrator's other books, no problem. It was not the narrator!

Eve Dallas is the tough lieutenant hot on his trail, but this is unlike any case she’s ever been assigned - or any killer she’s ever pursued. A police sketch based on eye-witness testimony reveals the killer has green skin, swollen red eyes, goblin ears, and a dislocated jaw-structure that defies the human form. Is it a mask? Is it make-up? Or is the explanation more sinister? Dallas faces off against multiple suspects - all of them students of medicine capable of precisely slicing the ears, noses, and eyes of the three victims.

Now, a few years into the marriage, colliding dreams threaten to tear them apart.
