Good solid suspense. I felt alot for the characters. Compelling from start to finish. I loved Anna Fields reading of the book.
I have been a fan of Tom Clancy for years. I was dubious of the narrator being Lou Diamond Phillips but was quickly surprised by the range of voices and accents. Extremely well done. The book was a happy encounter with many of my old favorite characters. All in all an extremely enjoyable experience.
I thought I would struggle listening to this long book but was disappointed when I finished it so fast. I was captivated and forced to recognize how much of our society depends on self starters to overcome adversity. It is simple economic principles at work everyday and this story helps us not to take them for grant it.
The entire premise is unplausable but curiously fasinating. I attempted to listen to it several times before I was hooked. I had to get beyond the first hour and then became more curious. By the third hour I wanted to know where it was going. It had tedious moments and areas of irrelevancy but overall it was amusing and entertaining.
I found listening to this 3 part unabridged book very short. It kept me on the edge of my seat in suspense wanting to know what happened next. For such a long book, it seemed really short.
