"why not two adults?"
This is a story about an older woman and teenage boy who get involved with one another-deeper than they thought. I am disgusted with the child abuse aspect of it--I think the story could have easily been between two adults instead of a boy and a woman. The rest of the story is good once you get past the pedophile beginning.
"Good nonstop action"
This is a goood action novel that opens strong and builds all the way through. A group of vacationing hunters take on some young techno saavy punks who are terrorizing a town-and them. A little far fetched at times, but still a good romp. Good narrator.
"excellent in every way"
This was an absolutely wonderful book in every way. The narrator was top notch and the writing drew me into a completely different world. The abridgement was excellent-I would not have known it is much longer unabridged. I may even get the unabridged version to to experience more magic. Highly recommended if you love a good read and don't have a lot of time.
"I was a teenage Cleopatra"
I was not able to finish listening to this one. the narrator's voice was annoying and hard to understand. I doubt the real Cleopatra would have accomplished as much as she did if she had whined like this. She was also supposed to have had a musical voice--not like this narrator.
"Audible treat"
This book was pure delight to listen to. The story is well written and extremely well narrated. The characters and time period seem to come to life. I was completely drawn into the story of Lady Jane and her sad life in the English court. Well done.
"my first audio book"
This is my first audio book, and I believe I picked a good one to start with! I really liked the narration-it seemed to help me keep track of the characters and plot. This is a fun espionage type of book that moves to exotic places around the world. This is also the first book by Silva that I have read and again I did well. I recommend it.
