There is a lot to learn about one's self in this book. I listen to this again and again to remind myself of who I am when things go tough, or simply when I go back to the old habits. I did learn to love myself after listening to this book.
Very soothing voice. Sharing her experiences, and citing everyday life experiences made it easy for me to understand and relate, thus, understanding my situations better.
I didn't believe, initially, about the 'mirror work'. I didn't try it on the second listen when it was suggested that we do the exercises. When I finally had the time, it was a very moving experience. I did cry. It made me realize 'I am also a person who needed exactly the same things I am giving to everyone else in my life.'
If you would like to discover yourself, or are going through tough times in life, help yourself and listen to this book. It will help.
I'm a beginner in meditation, started out when a 16-yr relationship ended. This is only my 2nd try at guided meditation, was surprised at the sound of the voice which felt to me like Hal from Space Odyssey. The messages, though, are powerful. Get past the voice and take the message. Very, very helpful.
