"It Could Happen Soon"
Even though this is a work of Fiction, Glen spells out a story that is, and even likley, to happen in the not so distant future.
I'm not a Glen Beck Fan, but the Audio Book is very good. It will keep you on the edge of your virtual chair, and stimulate your thoughts and beliefs as well. Rcommend it.
"Insomnia, a SiFi thriller"
Not for quite a while, the story is classic SK, but there are horrible sound effects added at inappropriate spots in the narration. This is distracting, and even irritating in some instances.
Ralph is the main character, he is the good guy! Then Lois plays a great companion and partner.
Main dislike is the corny and amateur music that was added at the most inappropriate places. Good plot and story, typical SK.
No change
I would rate this 4+ except for the screwy music and sound effects. It's terrible and distracting. Te narration is good, just need to remove the sound effects.
"The Dark Tower VII The End Game"
The Dark Tower series is a very long set to listen to. The final Chapter, VII, ties the loose ends up, and we are allowed to let go. It fits in with the previous books, and has the SK trademark tales, stories within the story, tangents, but it all gets tied back into the main plot and we get closure
I recommend this book, it is the final chapter, so it will not be as meaningful if the series has not been read.
George is a top notch performer, his narration was well done.
Again, this is a very long series, and it can get boring in spots. For readers who don't mind or enjoy large volumes, in series, the it's a good set to listen to. It's worth listening to the first one or two, by then you'll know if your ready to continue or not.
