Would you try another book from James Wallace and/or Michael Jameson?

THE NARRATOR WAS SO AWFUL! I THINK THE STORY WAS PROBABLY GOOD BUT WAS SO DISTRACTED BY THE NARRATION I CAN'T SAY FOR SURE. DARN SHAME. THESE AUTHORS SHOULD REALLY CHECK OUT THE NARRATORS BETTER!

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Michael Jameson?

    PROBABLY ANYONE ELSE!!!!!!

When the black rain began to fall, it was a worldwide phenomenon that mystified everyone. Climbing Fox Wattana of the Henomawi Nation claims responsibility for the black rain and its effects; he says it is his revenge against the United States government for robbing his people of their land, ensuring their ultimate extinction. Cole "CB" Baxter isn't taking this lying down. He, his sister, Lilly, and Dr. Georgina Lake will flee the airboat-tour business in the Florida Everglades and attempt to rescue what family they can.

What a great start to a new zombie series! It's hard to believe this is a new writer. Do not be put off by the cover - when you find out the story behind it you'll be very impressed. This book had the right amount of everything for the zombie lover - new ideas, and some parts down right gory! Glorious!!

Concerned that technology is about to chase mythological creatures out into the open (how long can Sasquatch stay hidden from Google maps?), the League for Interspecies Cooperation is sending Jillian to Louisiana on a fact-finding mission. While the League hopes to hold on to secrecy for a little bit longer, they're preparing for the worst in terms of human reactions. They need a plan, so they look to Mystic Bayou, a tiny town hidden in the swamp where humans and supernatural residents have been living in harmony for generations.

He’s savage. He’s brutal. He’s a killer. By an act of fate, our worlds collide. They call him a monster, but he is my salvation.

These kind of books can go either way. Alot of times I don't finish them because of boring same old stories or the female in the book is ridiculous. However this book was not like so many others. Well written -different -a very good story and the characters were interesting and easy to get invested in. Really good book!

Jack Jupiter knows zombies. He's written about them for years. So when Jack's mother passes away in a freak car accident involving a half-eaten deer and a pack of cigarettes, he also knows something's up. Now, Jack and his fiancé, Darlene, are forced to go back to the dreadful town of Woodhaven, Ohio, for his mom's funeral. But what he doesn't know is it might be their funeral, too. A few months before Jack and Darlene's arrival, a mysterious flu-like virus swept through the town, infecting nearly every citizen.

The zombie action was as good as any out there. The main character was whiny and unappealing through out the whole book. And wow -the author really hates smokers and between the two I won't continue the series.

The people that tried to kill the world almost succeeded. They were fiendishly clever but they didn't take into account the vets, the truckers, and the two-fisted fighters who didn't know how to give up. Gunny and his band of survivors continue their journey along the Zombie Road, saving as many as they can along the way. They power through the undead hordes with their modified semi-trucks to beat the ticking clock of nuclear meltdowns.

The aftermath of the attack leaves him in the middle of the world's biggest secret: the existence of government agencies that regulate the supernatural. Zeke Daniels isn't just a douchebag; he's an asshole. A total and complete jerk, Zeke keeps people at a distance. He has no interest in relationships - most assholes don't. Dating? Being part of a couple? Nope. Not for him. He's never given any thought to what he wants in a girlfriend, because he's never had any intention of having one. Shit, he barely has a relationship with his family, and they're related; his own friends don't even like him. So why does he keep thinking about Violet DeLuca? Sweet, quiet Violet - his opposite in every sense of the word.

I listened to about 1/2 of the book but it's just too juvenile for my taste. The author is good and the narration is good as well.
