Let me start off by saying that this type of mystery isn't my favorite and the writing would probably appeal more to the younger generation. However, it was a fun read/listen. It kept me engaged and was definitely more on the funny side. I thought the narrator did a good job with the various voice inflections. All in all, not a bad listen.
It was entertaining and kept me engaged. I thought the various characters were amusing.
No, I haven't so I don't know how it would compare to anything else he did but I thought that his various "voices" were good and definitely made it easy to tell who was speaking.
I don't know.
I love the voices and how they vary enough and the story is wonderful.
I love Tod. He is innocent but wise and funny and complicated. Just and all around great guy.
I love them all. I think she does a great job with all of them.
No extreme reaction.
Don't know didn't read the printed version.
It's different at least for me. I don't usually go in for the YA stuff.
I love them all. She does a great job!!!!
I would like to have but I usually listen while in my car or riding my bike.
I enjoyed this 2nd (or 2nd and a half) story in this series. I don't typically go in for the YA stuff but I find the story interesting and I love ALL the characters, even some of the bad guys. I also love the reader. She does a wonderful job. Can't wait to listen to the next one.
No, I don't think so.
No opinion one way or the other.
I didn't like this book. It was too gory and the good guy always being there to save the day just didn't work for me.
Yes. It was a good read.
Not that I know of.
I liked this book and I have to say that I was a little surprised by the end. This was on the list of books to read for my mystery and crime book group and I don't think that I would really classify this as that but it was an interesting read/listen and I enjoyed the characters and the rich accents that I thought the reader did an excellent job of portraying.
I didn't read the book so I really don't know, I just know that I enjoyed the audio edition.
I don't think the book was supposed to be "keep you on the edge of your seat" kind of book. It did keep me interested and I was always eager to hear the next stage.
Molly of course.
I would have liked that but that usually doesn't work out for me.
I really enjoyed this one and will be looking for the next one. It will be interesting to see how her business goes and whether she tells the rest of the truth to her suitor. I love that it had some history and I really loved the readers accent.
Not really. I had a hard time connecting with the story and felt lost most of the time.
I'm not sure. It is just not my type of read/listen making it even harder to follow for me.
He does a good job of changing his inflections from character to character.
I am probably not the right person to ask this as this is not the type of read/listen I enjoy.
Nothing that I can think of.
Nothing by this author.
I didn't like anything about this book.
Ugh...this was tough to get through. I started with the book but after 35 pages I knew that there was no way I was going to be able to make my way through the book so I got the DVD. I decided that watching a movie wasn't right so I got the book on CD and tried to listen to it in my car. I have to say that I was lost most of the book and only picked up a few things. I got more information in my book club but I definitely won't be looking for any more of these book. Definitely not my kind of read.
I don't know as I didn't read the print version.
Well, I have to say that I agree with him. Outlawing all guns isn't going to solve the problem. But, perhaps outlawing the ones that are solely for the purpose of slaughtering (not game hunting) might make a difference and stricter requirements to purchase guns and better background checks might make it better. Putting all of these things into effect couldn't do anything but make a difference to the better. Although some might say "a little too little and a little too late", but in some things a little a little late is better than nothing ever. Maybe taking these steps will save some of our grand kids and great grand kids from the horrors that we are seeing today.
Probably not another one from Jo Nesbo.
Don't think this should be made into a movie.
This was okay but I have to say I did have a hard time following it toward the end. Seemed to jump all over the place and in the end I really didn't like any of the characters.
The history was what I liked best. It was a little slow moving.
I don't think that I have listened to other book by Paul Collins.
It was a good performance.
This was interesting. It was about the murder and about the tabloid wars that this murder started. Very interesting times for sure.
