When a stalker ratchets up his attempts to get to her, cable sex-talk-show host Morgan O'Malley turns to Jack Cole - a self-proclaimed dominant - for help. Though Jack is a bodyguard, Morgan feels anything but safe in his presence. Because slowly and seductively, Jack is bringing her deepest fantasies to the surface. And when he bends her to his will, what's more shocking than her surrender is how much she enjoys it and how she starts to crave his masterful touch.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

No. The story line was good but it was a little sappy and it seemed like the emotions were a little extreme. Also it was like shayla black was trying to describe and defend the a Dom/sub relationship. That got on my nerves. She kept repeating herself that it wasn't wrong or unhealthy. Yea I got that the first 10 times. I know the character was a reluctant sub but still....I want to read about the relationship not have the psychological factors explained over and over.

Would you be willing to try another book from Shayla Black? Why or why not?

Yes I've read other stuff of hers that I like but I won't be continuing this series.

    Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene was at the bed and breakfast when the main character gets taken by both men and has the final showdown with her stalker.

Was Wicked Ties worth the listening time?

    eh...

I Would not recommend this book. While the story had promise it did not deliver. Both the characters and the plot fell flat. I found the story moved very quickly but did not have enough deepth for me to be invested in the hardships of the world or connect to the characters. Also the book was full of clichés and I found the narration to be grating.

If you could sum up Feral Sins in three words, what would they be?

    Sexy, Sarcastic and Wolftastic

What did you like best about this story?

I have to say my favorite part of this book is the shifter aspect. I think the author did a really good job of portraying the pack mentality. Also the overall development of the alpha wolves was good. A lot happened in this book and that was one of the main things I liked about. OH also the main character was such a strong character and soooo sarcastic all the time. I loved it!

What about Jill Redfield’s performance did you like?

I really liked her. She definitely grew on me as the story progressed. I thought she did a particularly good job portraying Taryn. She pulled off the sarcastic lines very well. She did a great job on the whole thing. I could really hear the emotions of the characters through the narration.

First of all thank you to Therese Plummer who is amazing. I wouldn't have found this book or taken the chance on it if it wasn't read by her.

I was really surprised by how much I liked this book. I usually don't listen to books that are this short but was very glad I did because this one was awesome. I must admit i was half expecting some cheesy rendition of Beauty and the Beast. However, thankfully that was not the case. This story took on a life of its own and surprisingly the characters were really well done. There is so much about this book that I loved; the romance, the action, suspense and the magic. Hauk was definitely my favorite character though. He just has so many intricate details about him and is just plain awesome. Trust me....just listen. I don't think you will regret it.

Can't wait to finish the whole series!

What made the experience of listening to Lead Me On the most enjoyable?

It was the perfect mix of romance, humor and a tiny bit of adventure. I loved Chase and Jane together and their dynamic was awesome. The sex scenes were hot and descriptive but weren't so long that I felt like I was reading a porno. This book kept me entertained and I was fighting a smile through a big part of it

What does Savannah Richards bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I really liked this narrator. Her reading style didn't annoy me or get in the way. She was very expressive. With her I was able to got lost in the characters and emotions. She did an awesome job of portraying the characters attitudes.

    Any additional comments?

I really liked how the characters were fleshed out in this book. All the characters, not just the main ones, were an important part of the story and made it feel more realistic and rounded, unlike some where there is a hyper focus on the two main characters. I really liked Jane. Her rough past and how she got through it was believable and not cheese or over dramatic. Chase made me smile and was a super hot and sexy :) yumalicious!

If you could sum up Kill Me Softly in three words, what would they be?

    Love overtakes death

What was one of the most memorable moments of Kill Me Softly?

The ending was probably the most memorable moment. I love how they summed up the book but also left a few things open so there could be a sequel but you aren't dying from a horrible cliff hanger.

What about Kim Mai Guest’s performance did you like?

I like that her voice is so feminine and light. I did not like that she sometimes spoke so softly almost whispering.
