"My first David Morrell"
I found the book difficult to listen to.The narrator did not hold my attention, I found it very easy to wonder off and start thinking about other things while listening. Overall it was quite enjoyable though.
"Not really into romance novels, but .............."
I chose this book just to try some new genre for me. I was pleasantly surprised. Listened to it in two parts on a particularly long car trip and thoroughly enjoyed it. A nice casual listen, no plots to follow or complex theories to work out.
"Another winner from Bryce Courtney"
Oh what a delight. A fantastic story. Again down to earth characters and a wonderful way to pass the time. I travel a lot in South Africa, so my journeys are normally quite long. Bryce Courtney has been a major help to me. Makes the trip a whole lot quicker. Thanks again for a wonderful story.
"Part 2 of the trilogy"
Even better than the Potato Factory. Have grown with the characters, laughed and cried. Now for the last one.
"Part 1 of Trilogy"
I was a bit dubious about starting a trilogy but was immediately blown away and could not wait for the next and the next ....
"Just not my cup of tea"
I know that this is a very special book for Bryce Courtney, but I could not get into it.
"Well done again"
I just never tire listening to this great writer's books. Lost count of how many now, but it feels like Humphrey Bower is a mate of mine. I cannot wait to listen again.
"Really good book"
I found the story really gripping. Well done again. The narrator carries the story very well.
"My first Nelson DeMille"
This is my first listen to this great writer. Superb. Kept the interest up all the way.
"Solomon's Song"
This is the first review I have written on Audiobooks and if I carry on listening to Humphrey Bouwer narrating Bryce Courtney's books, probably wont be the last. After more than 60 hours of listening to the saga of the Solomon's and all, I am truly sad to have to say goodbye to them all. They have almost become a part of my life as my job entails me travelling around in South Africa. Very saddened by the ending but I suppose in a way it was to be expected. Thank you both for the fantastic entertainment you provide.
