In Steven Pressfield's richly imagined, vividly detailed story, golf legends Bobby Jones and Walter Hagen are joined by a local unsung opponent, the troubled war hero Rannulph Junah. Their match is thrilling competition, but the key to the outcome lies with caddie Bagger Vance, who carries the secret of the Authentic Swing.

    "My first ABRIDGED audio book."

I truly enjoyed this book and found it difficult to turn off. Even though this was an ABRIDGED version the narrator did a very good job. I searched for an UNABRIDGED version but did not find one. I also bought the book. Enjoy!

Robert Louis Stevenson's cherished, unforgettable adventure magically captures the thrill of a sea voyage and a treasure hunt through the eyes of its teenage protagonist, Jim Hawkins. Crossing the Atlantic in search of the buried cache, Jim and the ship's crew must brave the elements and a mutinous charge led by the quintessentially ruthless pirate Long John Silver. Brilliantly conceived and splendidly executed, it is a novel that has seized the imagination of generations of adults and children alike.

Where does Treasure Island rank among all the audiobooks you???ve listened to so far?

This is my second favorite book, next to 'The Gunslinger'. I've lost count of how many times I've listened to it.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite characters are Jim Hawkins and Long John Silver.

What about Alfred Molina???s performance did you like?

The narrator, Alfred Molina, amazes me with his multiple character depictions.

    Any additional comments?

I recommend this book highly to all.
