The Ghost Brigades are the Special Forces of the Colonial Defense Forces, elite troops created from the DNA of the dead and turned into the perfect soldiers for the CDF's toughest operations. They're young, they're fast and strong, and they're totally without normal human qualms.

What made the experience of listening to The Ghost Brigades the most enjoyable?

Among the four books (Old Man's War), this one is the most scientific... Kinda like Siii-fi...

In general, the storyline is very smooth but some parts, a bit detailed.

There is one question though... HOW ON EARTH he came up with such astonishing ideas?

It is very difficult for me to express my true feelings without spoiling the story elements... but SERIOUSLY... like the first book, Ghost brigades introduces several ideas which I not only HOPE to see but also MIGHT able to see in the next coming years!

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Ghost Brigades?

Not able to answer due to SPOILER Issues

What does William Dufris bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Well, let me say it this way, in some "scenes"; he SYNCs your BRAIN with the TEXT EMOTIONS !

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I don't want to answer this question! ... for no particular reason ... U know

Ensign Andrew Dahl has just been assigned to the Universal Union Capital Ship Intrepid, flagship of the Universal Union since the year 2456. Life couldn’t be better…until Andrew begins to pick up on the facts that (1) every Away Mission involves some kind of lethal confrontation with alien forces; (2) the ship’s captain, its chief science officer, and the handsome Lieutenant Kerensky always survive these confrontations; and (3) at least one low-ranked crew member is, sadly, always killed.

If you could sum up Redshirts in three words, what would they be?

    "Out of the BOX"

If you liked "The Matrix" trilogy, You'll love this one too!

I love it when someone takes the reality of world to challenge.

Who was your favorite character and why?

All of the main Characters are very well formed.

What does Wil Wheaton bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    The Narration is the BEST!
He is a very (and I mean "VERRRY") good narrator.

As an actor, he absorbs all the characters' personalities.

The narration is not like a reading... it is more like a performance on stage.

John Perry did two things on his 75th birthday. First, he visited his wife's grave. Then he joined the army. The good news is that humanity finally made it into interstellar space. The bad news is that planets fit to live on are scarce - and alien races willing to fight us for them are common. So, we fight, to defend Earth and to stake our own claim to planetary real estate. Far from Earth, the war has been going on for decades: brutal, bloody, unyielding.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

    Yep! I already did!

Story is very smooth, very visual! Just like watching a movie!
    Narration is very good too.

Full of new ideas, scientists should work on some of them for real!!

Some of the brilliant ideas carry "TM" !!

What about William Dufris’s performance did you like?

    Nice character sets.
He can transfer the emotions very well.
The main character was the best.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

75 Yrs old? You've seen Nothing yet!

The Quantum Thief is a dazzling hard SF novel set in the solar system of the far future - a heist novel peopled by bizarre post-humans but powered by very human motives of betrayal, revenge and jealousy. It is a stunning debut. Jean le Flambeur is a post-human criminal, mind burglar, confidence artist and trickster.
