"Buy for Your High School or College Graduate"
"Looking Out for You" is not your typical advice book...and it's not a conservative vs. liberal ideological assault...other reviewers have this book dead wrong! WLOFY is written from the perspective of a fellow graduate from the University of Hard Knocks and it has a caring-mentorship flair in it's style. It's core emphasis is on building lasting, life-long friendships to help you stay accountable and grounded.
Certainly, O"Reilly does take a few opportunities to "call them as he sees 'em" on some of our current events....But, it's not overdone. As I said, do your son or daughter graduate a favor and put this book in their hand or in their MP3 player. They may not immediately understand some of the "pearls" that O'Reilly is tossing out. But, it might help them change their perspective on how they build long relationships with people who will...Look Out For Them.
"Variety of Narrators &"
I agree (in part) with some of the other posts about the narration on the subscriptions...It borders on "monotone."
- An idea would be to mix male/female voices for different topics or subject matter.
- Another "cool feature" would be to announce "time marks" for each subject at the beginning of the subscription to allow the listener to "fast forward" to the approximate spot for a subject they are particularly interested in...saves time-adds value.
