The book itself is not so bad, but that awful Bristish/Aussie accent or whatever it is was nothing more than unbearable.
By far one of the best autobiography books I've ever read. Janis did a wonderful job narrating the story, also hearing her sing was a wonderful touch.
I loved it so much, that after finishing the book I went on iTunes and purchased a couple of the songs.
Such a wonderful, fascinating story. I'm glad I took a chance on this book.
This book is so damn good, it should come with a warning. There's no way you can listen to the first season and not crave more.
The second season picks up right where the first one ended. The story gers better. New characters are introduced, and of course all the old favorites are back.
Best production EVER.
I found this gem in the surprise $4.95 Sale. Best money I've ever spent on Audible by far. After the first hour of listening to this book, I was hooked I couldn't put my iPod down. Season two and three are just as fun --Full of zombie gore, drama and of course the AWESOME sound effects. I cannot say enough good things about this book.
If you enjoy a good zombie book, this is definitely for you.
Solving an Algorithms master theorem in KIingon would've been much easier than trying to make sense of this conundrum.
Seems like an interesting story, but the "language" If you can call it that, kept throwing me off. The author tried to give the reader some type of definition to certain words but it only made it more confusing by using more made up words as an explaintion (if that makes any sense)
I'm not sure exactly which parts of the story had anything to do with Mathematical theories, except for some loose references to Geometry and other made up nonsense.
I really wanted to like the book, though.
It's sooooo hard being a middle class teenage white girl with a rich uncle.
Oooh the struggle!
Some part of it was "kind of" funny (and I use the word funny loosely here). The rest of it was just annoying. I kept wating for some kind of big reveal or something interesting to happen at the end, unfortunately It never came together for me.
After reading the reviews, I was really looking forward to finally enjoy this book. Seems to me that every character in the story belong in some type of nut house, and the fact that it took place in a military setting makes the whole thing seem far-fetched and more confusing as to how any officers of the US Air Force would behave in such rediculous manner and get away with it?
I want more of Melanie Fuller. She's so evil, racist, sassy, and twisted you can't help but love her.
This is not your tipical scary story. There's a whole new twist to the " Vampire" thing. It's so well written, you won't be able to put it on pause.
If you enjoy a good scary book, with a hint of humor, this one's for you.
This book by far is one of my favorites. I've read a lot of good reviews about it and the author, and decided to give it a go. Needless to say, I wasn't dissappointed at all.
The story is well written and relatable. I was sad to see it end.
Check it out, you'll love it.
What can I say about this book whitout being mean?
I'm a huge Stephen King fan don't get me wrong, but this book is a MAJOR downer. This one is so boring it couldn't keep me interested. On several accasions I dozed off, which made it even more confusing...
Also, I strongly think that Stephen King should stick to what he does best which is writing, and leave the narrator business to the professionals.
The whole thing was just depressing, boring, and dry.
