It is Nick and Amy Dunne's fifth wedding anniversary. Presents are being wrapped and reservations are being made when Nick's clever and beautiful wife disappears from their rented McMansion on the Mississippi River. Husband-of-the-Year Nick isn't doing himself any favors with cringe-worthy daydreams. Under mounting pressure from the police and the media - as well as Amy's fiercely doting parents - the town golden boy parades an endless series of lies, deceits, and inappropriate behavior. Nick is oddly evasive, and he's definitely bitter - but is he really a killer?

The plot thickens, the story get even more twisted. I enjoyed every minute of it. The narrators did such a great job bringing the characters to life, it is as if I knew these people, and wanted to relate to them. The ending was a complete surprise. So riveting, it was impossible to put it down.

This is my first book from Gillian Flynn, and already I'm a huge fan. I'll definitely be on the look out for her next book.

Catch-22 is set in the closing months of World War II, in an American bomber squadron on a small island off Italy. Its hero is a bombardier named Yossarian, who is frantic and furious because thousands of people he hasn't even met keep trying to kill him. (He has decided to live forever, even if he has to die in the attempt.)

Some part of it was "kind of" funny (and I use the word funny loosely here). The rest of it was just annoying. I kept wating for some kind of big reveal or something interesting to happen at the end, unfortunately It never came together for me.

After reading the reviews, I was really looking forward to finally enjoy this book. Seems to me that every character in the story belong in some type of nut house, and the fact that it took place in a military setting makes the whole thing seem far-fetched and more confusing as to how any officers of the US Air Force would behave in such rediculous manner and get away with it?

I want more of Melanie Fuller. She's so evil, racist, sassy, and twisted you can't help but love her.

This is not your tipical scary story. There's a whole new twist to the " Vampire" thing. It's so well written, you won't be able to put it on pause.

If you enjoy a good scary book, with a hint of humor, this one's for you.

Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten. Insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw, The Fault in Our Stars is award-winning-author John Green’s most ambitious and heartbreaking work yet, brilliantly exploring the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love.

The story is well written and relatable. I was sad to see it end.

Check it out, you'll love it.

What can I say about this book whitout being mean?

I'm a huge Stephen King fan don't get me wrong, but this book is a MAJOR downer. This one is so boring it couldn't keep me interested. On several accasions I dozed off, which made it even more confusing...
Also, I strongly think that Stephen King should stick to what he does best which is writing, and leave the narrator business to the professionals.

The whole thing was just depressing, boring, and dry.

Dubbed the American Tolkien by Time magazine, George R. R. Martin has earned international acclaim for his monumental cycle of epic fantasy. Now the number-one New York Times best-selling author delivers the fifth book in his spellbinding landmark series - as both familiar faces and surprising new forces vie for a foothold in a fragmented empire.

What the heck was that all about???

What kind of ending was that???

Why couldn't they just make it a trilogy and call it the day? The last two books of the series are a complete waste of time, money/credits. After going through the long-winded thirty three hour process of listening to this book, all you'll get is a big NADA!

Few books have captivated the imagination and won the devotion and praise of readers and critics everywhere as has George R. R. Martin’s monumental epic cycle of high fantasy that began with A Game of Thrones. Now, in A Feast for Crows, Martin delivers the long-awaited fourth book of his landmark series, as a kingdom torn asunder finds itself at last on the brink of peace . . . only to be launched on an even more terrifying course of destruction.

I enjoyed the first three books so much, I couldn't wait to get my hands on the fourth one. Sadly, it was a major disappointment.

I'm not sure what happened with Roy Dotrice but he ruined the previous main characters. the voices were off, he couldn't get the names right. All a sudden Kat-leen turns into Kate-len, Sansa turns into San-cer, Brienne turns into Bri-yan and so on... At one point Cercei's character sounded like Grand Maester Pycelle and then she sounded like Joffrey. It's all so confusing. He even got Arya to sound like Sameul Tarley.

I read the reviews for the fifth book, and from what I've seen I don't think I will be wasting two of my credits on the next one. It's such a shame because the first three books were superb.

    Thanks for nothing Roy!

What would have made Monster Hunter International better?

They need to rewrite the whole thing over. Oh and maybe give me a refund.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Certainly not another story from Larry Correia.

How could the performance have been better?

ORIGINALITY!!! The narrator sounded drunk or maybe bored the whole time. I usually listen to these books at work to keep me awake and help the time go faster. I fell asleep twice listening to this book.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Well, let's see: I was desappointed, irritated, bored and angry I wasted a whole $17 on such a bad book.

    Any additional comments?
