What made the experience of listening to The One Who Saves Me the most enjoyable?

I love the interaction between Cay and Drew. The listening heightens the experience - its better than a movie!

Who was your favorite character and why?

I really like Caleb. He stood by Andrew no matter what. It would have been very easy for him to judge and point out that Drew was mimicking his mother's destructive behavior but he never did. Outside of having issues about his own body, Caleb seemed to be a well balanced individual. Such a good friend.

Have you listened to any of Paul Morey’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Mr. Morey is very comfortable with these characters. I like the way he narrates. There were some engineering glitches at times but overall, I can't see anyone else narrating Cardeno's books.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Sometimes the obvious is not so obvious....

    Any additional comments?

    Good addition to my collection.

If you could sum up The Enlightenment of Daniel in three words, what would they be?

    Touching, frustrating, emotional

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Enlightenment of Daniel?

I was touched by Daniel's father and his change of heart. I'm glad that he got a chance to express his feelings before it was too late.

Which character – as performed by Tommy O'Brien – was your favorite?

    Daniel's dad.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me angry at times. I hated the way Marcia manipulated Nick. I also hated the way he let her. Her mother fried my butt as well. What a piece of work.

    Any additional comments?

Eli Easton is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. So far, the narrators of her books have been fantastic and they fit the stories that they read. I just wish the books were much longer. I hate for them to end.

If you could sum up The Last Thing He Needs in three words, what would they be?

    Infuriating, moving, inspirational

What did you like best about this story?

I really love the way Tommy took care of his family no matter what and the way Bobby stepped in to help.

Have you listened to any of Michael Stellman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Michael is a wonderful narrator and I have many books in my Audible library narrated by him. He seems to get better with each one.

If you could take any character from The Last Thing He Needs out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Tommy. He deserves to be treated and taken care of for a change.

    Any additional comments?

So far as I can tell, there are only two books available by J. H. Knight and I have loved both of them. I hope that there are more coming.

I love stories by Ms. Easton and this book was no exception. Her take on shifters is quite refreshing. So many hilarious moments. I am glad that Tim and Lance (Chance) figured things out and got together. I'm also happy that Marshall got his comeuppance. I certainly hope that we get more stories about this town, narrated by Matthew (hint, hint Roman's) - he's wonderful.

What did you love best about Black John?

There are so many layers to this story. I didn't know if I could take all of the angst but I'm glad that I gave it a try. John's redemption is the best part.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Black John?

    Tory' suicide.

What does Gomez Pugh bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Gomez Pugh is perfect for this book. He's become one of my favorite narrators since he started narrating the PsyCop series. His distinctive voices and the way he expresses the emotions for each character makes listening such a pleasure. I look forward to hearing a lot more from him.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me angry and sad for the way John and Tory's parents treated them. I really liked John's Nana. Her antic cracked me up.

    Any additional comments?

I hope Gomez will be narrating more of Amy's books. I love that his talents have been paired with some of my favorite authors.

Aaron Seavers is a pathetic mess, and he knows it. He lives in terror of incurring his father's wrath and disappointing his mother, and he can't stop dithering about where to go to college - with fall term only weeks away. Ditched by a friend at a miserable summer farewell party, all he can do is get drunk in the laundry room and regret he was ever born. Until a geeky-cute classmate lifts his spirits, leaving him confident of two things: his sexual orientation and where he's headed to school.

    Inspiring, Frustrating, Emotional

What did you like best about this story?

I loved when Giles stayed in his car to make sure Aaron was okay when he had to go and 'face the music' from his parents.

Have you listened to any of Iggy Toma’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I listened to the first book in this series and if possible, he's even better narrating this one.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The scenes with his parents infuriated me. I wanted to kick his father hard with a very pointed toed shoe and shake some backbone into his mother. The music portions of the story made me giddy.

    Any additional comments?

I've said it before, I love Heidi's writing style and look forward to listening to many more of her books thru Audible.

When they were at uni, Owen always had a bit of a crush on Nathan. But Nathan was apparently straight, and Owen was too busy with other guys to take his crush seriously. When Nathan moves back to Bristol after a year away, Owen hears that Nathan has come out of the closet, and he propositions him. Nathan doesn't want to be just another notch on Owen's bedpost, though, so he challenges Owen to prove he can be serious: five dates before they have sex.

This is a cute story that left me wanting more. I like Nathan's idea about going out on five dates to get to know Owen even though he already had a crush on him. They had fun but of course there are misunderstandings an hurt feelings. But it all turned out well in the end. The narrator is perfect for this. I hope he is going to narrate the rest of the series.

Would you consider the audio edition of Heir to the Shadows to be better than the print version?

I love the whole series. John Sharian really does a wonderful job on the characterizations.
Listening to the stories makes me want to see Kaleer and Ebon Askavi and meet the Sa Diablos.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Daemon SaDi. I like the way he's portrayed as protective of all the people he cares about but also how he would not hesitate to defy the Aristos who tried to keep him subservient.

What about John Sharian’s performance did you like?

He has a talent for voices. Everyone was different and surprisingly they fit each character.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When one of the Kindred tiger kittens forged a friendship with a little girl and then rescued her after her mother was killed when their village wad raided.

    Any additional comments?

I was saddened when this series ended but I am so glad that I got a chance to experience it audibly. It's wonderful.

Bailey McMillan's life is a mess. The general public blames him for his former employer's nuclear pollution, resulting in professional disgrace. Humiliated, he takes a job as an editor at a science magazine run by his best friend, John. That part isn't so bad; Bailey is fond of John, who seems to find Bailey's abrasive nature amusing. Unfortunately, working for John also leads to writing an astrology column in exchange for getting free rein in some op-ed articles, and then being sued over one.
