Suspensful, Sexy, Bittersweet.
Yes. The plot to get the bad guy was so high risk, I kept expecting them to be caught at any moment.
I wasn't the biggest fan of her performance. Her reading of the female protagonist seemed off. It was not terrible, just not the best.
The beginning was very emotional.
I love this series but for some reason I found one of the men in this book to be so whiney and indecisive that it almost made this book un listenable. Luckily, the underlying mystery was very interesting and the reading performance was top notch. This book was not my favorite but I will get the next in the series.
It would be in the top 15.
I would say that this book is very comparable to How to Seduce a Naked Werewolf in that the heroine was feisty and maybe a bit over her head and the hero is a bit troubled and a bit sweet.
The beginning did a great job of sucking me in.
This book was very funny.
It is definitely worth a credit.
Fair warning, this is not an uplifting book. However, the characters are rich and their storylines are complex and messy, in the way that families often are. This was one that I could not turn off. It is definitely worth your credit.
I have read/listened to a many of Ms. Singh's books but for some reason this one did not rate highly among them. The story was missing something. But I did enjoy the updates on characters from previous books.
I have a few of Molly Harper's books on my bookshelf and I have to say this was my favorite. The main characters were great but I really fell in love with the secondary characters. This was a great romance wrapped in a pretty interesting mystery. I can't wait to read Book 2 in this series.
This book was a fresh take on vampire lore. It had a good mix of action and romance. I did feel that the pacing was a bit off - at times it felt that the story was rushed. I also found some of the dialogue to be a bit over the top. Overall, however, I enjoyed the book and would definitely try another in the series.
This book was very enjoyable but I felt that the performance was a bit flat. This was surprising to me because I have listened to other books narrated by Mr. Bellmore that were quite good. While the performance was flat in my opinion, it was not ruinous.
As for the book, it was fast-paced with a twist that I was not expecting. I enjoyed how the romance developed between Zacharel and Annabelle and the changes that we got to see in Zacharel. This was a book where I had trouble turning it off.
This book is worth a credit.
I was hesitant to purchase this book due to some of the reviews regarding the narration. The Narrator was not as bad as some have said in my opinion but he was not great. This is a wonderful book and it is the book that carries the "meh" performance.
It was very familiar - llike slipping on an old shoe. If you like Lora Leigh's other books, you will enjoy this one.
I enjoyed Ria's personality.
Yes, something about her characterization of Ria was off to me.
I would recommend this my friends. Ms. Cole does a great job of world building so that you are easily immersed. Robert Petkoff is also amazing.
I loved Conrad. He's a bad guy who is impossible to write off as just being evil.
I loved the scene where Conrad gathered the newspapers for Noemi.
