Hilarious satire about the dress of the Victorian era.
It is a Steampunk Victorian version of Sookie Stackhouse.
The GRRR of the handsome sexy werewolf.
YES and I got the rest of the series immediately and wanted more.
One of the best series I have listened to lately. Maybe ever and I listen a lot.
So glad I wasn't swayed by a few poor reviews written by people who apparently don't understand Steampunk. The enjoyable nature of Steampunk is that it is made up of satire, outrageous escapades and wondrous steam operated machines such as in Captain Nemo adventures. This book was enjoyable and entertaining. I found the main characters lovable and campy beyond description. Everything I love about Victorian Steampunk.I have been following Pip Ballantine and Tee Morris via Podcasting for years and I hope to see this series become a roaring success.
Well written, art and fantasy. It made me buy more from this author. Is there any better praise. I loved his other book also.
It is an interesting concept. Maybe a good juvenile "read" but I don't need concepts explained to me every paragraph and the dialog was infantile. A book I could and did put down.
Wasn't my cup of tea but if you like romance novels you will enjoy it
I usually do not re-listen but I might just for the historical fiction aspect. Seth Grahame-Smith really did his research on this. The interview with the author which is included is very interesting.
His early life you don't hear much about. And of course that is when he became a vampire hunter. :)
Good narration all around
Makes you angry at all those mean vampires.
Funny, satire, just enough sci-fi not to mention the cats and the dog.
I don't know if anything compares not even her other novels about time travel I also love. This one has so much humor.
Chasing the cat. You have to remember the character has never dealt with or seen a cat before since they don't exist in his time. Very funny.
Don't miss her other books on time travel "Blackout" and "All Clear"
Yes I have loved all her previous books on audible
Yes and this one disappoints. The first help is a rehash of the the series so far. When it starts to get into new story lines it ends leaving you feeling cheated.
yes I am not good at casting.
disappointed but waiting for more.
