Hear God's written Word spoken, period. Thomas Nelson introduces the NKJV Voice Only Audio Bible. Narrated by Bob Sourer, you can hear just the Word of God, from beginning to end, Genesis to Revelation, through the voice of a master storyteller. In Luke 4:4, Jesus said, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.'"

Would you consider the audio edition of NKJV Voice Only Audio Bible to be better than the print version?

I bought two other talking Bibles, one with a very well known actor whose voice everyone enjoys. His performance is fantastic but I sometimes can't hear him over the background music plus if I try to listen at bedtime, the music puts me to sleep. My goal was to "read" the entire Bible and I don't need the inspirational music. It's very distracting.

This version is voice only and very well done. I've never read the NKJV Bible - I'm a King James fan - but the translation is good and close to King James without the archaic language, for instance, it uses the modern term allow instead of the archaic suffer.

The other reviews are correct about the indexing being off. That's the only reason for 4 stars overall. St John, for instance, starts in the middle of what is indexed as chapter 69. It would be nice if it started on an index.

Where did the universe come from? What was there before it? What will the future bring? And finally, why is there something rather than nothing? Krauss’ answers to these and other timeless questions, in a wildly popular lecture on YouTube, has attracted almost a million viewers. One of the few prominent scientists to have actively crossed the chasm between science and popular culture, Krauss reveals that modern science is indeed addressing the question of why there is something rather than nothing—with surprising and fascinating results.

Would you try another book from Lawrence M. Krauss and/or Lawrence M. Krauss and Simon Vance ?

No. What I thought was going to be a book on cosmology turned out to be nothing more than a tirade against religion in general. I didn't buy this to hear about atheism, pantheism, Christianity, Islam or Vedanta. I wanted to learn cosmology.

Would you ever listen to anything by Lawrence M. Krauss again?

No. I got tired very quickly of their using the book as a bully pulpit for their religion.

    Which scene was your favorite?

    There were none.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from A Universe from Nothing?

The atheist proselytizing and the kissing of Richard Dawkins' rear end.

    Any additional comments?

OK, you're a good little atheist. Now you get your funding for your next book.
