As a single non-pregnant woman without children, I was unsure if I would enjoy this book. But I thoroughly did. Even though the cover is emblazoned with 3 pacifiers, this book is really about friendships and relationships. Milly Johnson writes in such an honest yet positive way. Colleen Prendergast gave a good performance but, at times, I found her to speak too fast. Maybe my slow, southern US ears were to blame.
All in all, a must read! :)
Really enjoyed listening to this book. The main character is both relatable and enjoyable. The cast of characters around her are well developed and interesting. As always, Katherine Kellgren gives a fantastic performance and slips flawlessly into many different accents.
Milly Johnson does a fantastic job of writing a believable friendship that is both supportive and fun, without the sap.
Anna. Written in a very real, believable way while participating in a storyline that seems a bit a fantastical.
Dawn. Prendergast gave her such a fun, sarcastic demeanor while not making her a token comic relief.
Haven't read the print version
To be honest, I don't remember much about the end except that it was pretty predictable
Maggie - she felt the most honest and natural.
Nah. Katherine Kellgren is my favorite audio narrator, but this book is not Madeleine Wickham's best. That could be attributed to only having the abridged version available on Audible.com
