Haller is a Lincoln Lawyer, a criminal defense pro who operates out of the backseat of his Lincoln Town Car, to defend clients at the bottom of the legal food chain. It's no wonder that he is despised by cops, prosecutors, and even some of his own clients. But an investigator is murdered for getting too close to the truth and Haller quickly discovers that his search for innocence has taken him face to face with a kind of evil as pure as a flame.

I couldn't put this book away. The narrator was very smooth and easy to listen to, one of the best I've heard. I have listened to over 100 audio books and I put this one in my personal top five. There are many twists and turns that took me completely by suprise both in and out of the courtroom. If you are looking for a story with entertaining courtroom drama, clever twists and action from beginning to end, look no further!

Why we think it’s a great listen: Never before has an author’s narration of his fiction been so important to fully grasping the book’s impact and global implications. Taking us from Afghanistan in the final days of its monarchy to the present, The Kite Runner is the unforgettable story of the friendship between two boys growing up in Kabul. Their intertwined lives, and their fates, reflect the eventual tragedy of the world around them.

I would reccomend this book to anyone with a little patience. After hanging in there for about 90 minutes, I became hooked!
