"Maybe it's me"
No, I kept having to rewind the story, it didn't hold my attention.
I would changed the pacing of the story, it was as if everyone was in a hurry, author, narrator..
The narrator sounded fresh and young, which the story required

The characters, Ms. Hobb has created a great group of living, breathing, flawed, and unforgettable characters.
Trying to pick a favorite character between Fitz and Fool and Nighteyes is like having to decide which child is your favorite, to pick one is impossible.
He does a great job, he doesn't over power the story with his voice, he brings it to life. Not once I did think about the narrator as anything separate from the story.
Impossible to say without spoiling the story for others

If your cleaning house or doing some mundane chore you probably would enjoy the listen. Sookie loves to clean.......
Disappointed again, it's like Mrs. Harris has suddenly discovered her series is on HBO and is trying to drag out the plot and story as much as she can.
I overlooked the repetitions and the silly narration in the first books, it was a good story with lovable characters. I wouldn't call it great fiction, but it was great fun and made me look forward to the next credit on my account.
But now I give up, Sookie has become just another great character destroyed by over exposure.
