Fame can be addictive. From his early days videotaping crazy skateboard stunts to starring in the blockbuster Jackass franchise, there was little that Stephen “Steve-O” Glover wouldn’t do for attention. Whether it was stapling his nutsack to his leg, diving into a pool full of elephant crap, or routinely risking death invading the private lives of sharks, lions, tigers, and bears, almost nothing was out of bounds. And as the stunts got crazier, his life kept pace.

Sort of deceptive. I???m enjoying the audiobook but 53 mins into it Steve-O announces he???ll no longer be reading it and then hands it over to some other narrator. What the hell?
It???s weird trying to adjust to it now that I???ve been used to hearing the actual author talk. Would this be an example of bait and switch? It does says Narrated by Stephen "Steve-O" Glover.
Steve-O, liking the book so far but sad to say as a consumer I am disappointed. (so far 5 stars for content but overall 2 for lame decision on replacement)

  • Yabba Dabba Doo!: The Alan Reed Story

The autobiography of the voice of Fred Flintstone is brought to life by veteran radio theater producer Joe Bevilacqua and Alan Reed Jr., featuring rare interviews with Alan Reed himself, an interview with Joe Barbera, and clips from Reed's radio, TV and film career.

Robert says: "Clip-filled tribute to a master character actor"
"This is disappointing for a Flintstone fan."

The title is ???Yabba Dabba Doo!??? yet the section devoted to details and trivia about that show was less than 30 mins. Kinda bummed and would have liked more. I guess it???s cool for those that want to hear clips of all the shows Alan Reed worked on in his career. I had to skip to nearly the end the locate the (in my opinion) yabba-dabba-doo-worthy material.

  • Voodoo Histories: The Role of the Conspiracy Theory in Shaping Modern History

Our age is obsessed by the idea of conspiracy. We see it everywhere - from Pearl Harbor to 9/11, from the assassination of Kennedy to the death of Diana. In this age of terrorism we live in, the role of conspiracy is a serious one - one that can fuel radical or fringe elements to violence. For award-winning journalist David Aaronovitch, there came a time when he started to see a pattern among these inflammatory theories.

Is there a New World Order? Are they trying to control every part of our lives? Are we treated like sheep? If so, then who are these people? What power do they really hold? Are they politicians, company directors, religious leaders, Royalty, lawmakers or all of the above and more? How old is their rule? And what secret organization do they belong to? Perhaps more importantly, are UFOs actually visiting our planet?

What I have discovered about this publisher: World Wide Multi Media, is that their audiobook titles are actually the audio track from dvd productions.
They are not programs designed for a listening only audience!!
These aren't audio programs derived from a written book, they are a free-flowing interviews from some type of tv show "Hour of Our Time Show."

I quit listening once it introduced that it was going to play a video for the audience that went on with music and no narration.

Completely inappropriate as an audio feature. I could understand if it was adapted as a listening program, but it isn't at all. Infuriating. Rip off!!
Save your money. If you really want it, look for it in dvd format because that's the only way you'll understand these "World Wide Multi Media" audiobooks.

For millennia man has looked towards the night sky in awe at the beauty and majesty of the Moon. It's silver glow has enticed and invited us. Then, in 1969, mankind finally managed to fulfill his dream, as NASA astronauts set foot upon our celestial partner. But ever since that momentous year, there have been raging arguments about whether we actually landed there or not.

In this gripping presentation, Simon Lewis explains his own theory about the true nature of the Moon.

They are not programs designed for a listening only audience!!
These are not audio programs derived from a written book, they are a free-flowing interviews from some type of tv show that has several, several points where the host says, "take a look at this (video) clip." Or the program references picture after picture without explaining what is being seen. Completely inappropriate as an audio feature. I could understand if it was adapted as a listening program, but it isn't at all. Infuriating. Rip off!!

Or if feel you need the audio experience watch it on youtube and close your eyes and see if you enjoy it. Guaranteed you'll want to open your eyes.
