I started audiobooks to get complete caught up on the Game of Thrones story, but I then realized that audiobooks solve my problem of wanting to read but not having the time. Steelheart is a very good story. I had never read or heard of Brandon Sanderson, but he is one of my favorite authors now. Macleod Andrews does a great job as well.
Macleod's performance particularly towards the end of the truck ride. I did not need him to say who was speaking. I had the voices memorized.
The chase scene and whether the main guy would help or hurt the situaion.
It made me laugh with the descriptions of the beautiful women. The environment descriptions are also great.
This was the first book or audiobook that I've ever pre-ordered. I was so impressed with the free preview chapters. The pace is good. The story is cool. Macleod Andrews could have done the a slightly better job with the female voices, but the other voices were pretty much spot on.
The prologue. The last 3-4 chapters. David's thoughts and bad metaphors from beginning to end.
David and Cody.
Yes very much so, but I know that it is the first in a trilogy. Therefore, I wanted to drag it out a little bit. The furious ending made me throw that plan out of the window.
Robb's opinionated descriptions of people and the mystery.
Yes, because of how detail oriented the killer is.
She gives Eve Dallas and the other female characters better voices than I could in my imagination.
Eve Dallas should have a tv show or miniseries. There are like 40 books. That is enough for 4, 10 episode seasons, and ten episodes would be a minimum if you crammed a book into 1 hr. Doing a miniseries or movies would also be great.
