What made the experience of listening to The Miracle of Mindfulness the most enjoyable?

The narration was superb. He even brought life to the parts of the book that are rather repetitive.

What about John Lee’s performance did you like?

Everything. He seemed to enjoy reading the book and that came through on the narration. Great intonation, volume, meter and phrasing.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes.

Science is now revealing how the flow of thoughts actually sculpts the brain. By combining breakthroughs in neuroscience with insights from thousands of years of contemplative practice, you, too, can use your mind to shape your brain for greater happiness, love, and wisdom.

Would you try another book from Rick Hanson and Richard Mendius and/or Alan Bomar Jones?

I would try another Rick Hanson book but nothing read by Alan Bomar Jones

Would you recommend Buddha's Brain to your friends? Why or why not?

No. Narrator is monotone and reads like a 4th grader. No emphasis on keywords, no change in tone or volume, no breaks between sentences and paragraphs.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Alan Bomar Jones?

John Lee. The narrator for "The Miracle of Mindfulness: An Introduction to the Practice of Meditation" by Thich Nhat Hanh.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

I don't know. It was too hard to listen to.
