What did you love best about The Forgotten?

Was just an all around great book to listen to. Good story that is well written. Characters are are well developed but not overly done. I like this series and cant wait for another!

Have you listened to any of Ron McLarty and Orlagh Cassidy ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to them in Zero Day and I enjoyed them very much in both books. I know others have talked about the sound effects in the book being a negative but I actually very much enjoyed them being used. And having the 2 narrators made things even more enjoyable. I will be looking for more of the work that these 2 have done!

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Probably not! It was kind of slow and was thrilled with the narrator.

If you’ve listened to books by Tess Gerritsen before, how does this one compare?

This was only the second book I have read of hers and I think harvest was far superior in all aspects.

What aspect of Richard Poe’s performance would you have changed?

I like a narrator that can give the main characters of the book a distinct voice. Richard Poe did not do a great job with that. especially the female voices. J

    Any additional comments?

Just overall not a great listen. Maybe it would be better if I had just read the book as opposed to listening to it.

Decision Points is the extraordinary memoir of America's 43rd president. Shattering the conventions of political autobiography, George W. Bush offers a strikingly candid journey through the defining decisions of his life.

I was a fan of Bush 43 and voted for him both times. I thought he was the right man at the right time! That being said... I had no idea how much respect for him I would have after listening to this book.

I very much enjoyed hearing what he was thinking when he made the decisions he did. I would love to have the opportunity to meet him and to shake is hand. Even if you dont agree with his political position, there is no arguing that this is a good man! I am glad that I got to learn a little about him and his family. And I have a much better understanding of what he stands for and why he made the decisions that he did! A definite must read as far as I am concerned.

In Harvest, the book that introduced us to Tess Gerritsen's unique blend of medical expertise, harrowing suspense, and brilliantly crafted plot twists, the dark side of medical research is exposed. Harvest vividly portrays a young woman doctor challenging a world where medical miracles and greed fuel a lethal conspiracy - and the bright lights of the O.R. conceal the ultimate corruption of genius.

This was a great book. Having been in the medical field as well as being involved with organ and tissue donation I was very interested in this story. I liked that the medical info was fairly accurate for the most part. There were a few things that made me think "that isnt right" but if you arent in the medical field you would not likely even notice them.

The possibility of this type of organ donation scam is often discussed by people that dont have any idea of how things work in this country. I cant believe that this could actually happen here but the idea of it happening makes for a great story.

Overall I thought this was very well written and am definitely going to listen to more from this author.

My only issue with the narrator is that in some parts of the book he was just too quiet. There were parts that I had to go back and turn the volume up for a minute.
