Peter leaves the relative safety of Mollusk Island - along with his trusted companion, Tinker Bell - for the cold, damp, dangerous streets of London. On a difficult journey across the sea, he and Tink discover the dark and deadly slithering part-man/part-creature Lord Ombra, who is intent on recovering the missing starstuff.

SciFiSurfer says: "My Kids Loved the the Starcatchers Series!"
    "Full of adventure and suspense!"
    Overall

I think Jim Dale is my favorite narrator. He is so wonderful to listen to and the stories of Peter, Molly, George, the boys, etc are so exciting it's difficult to stop the book to do other things.

The circus arrives without warning. No announcements precede it. It is simply there, when yesterday it was not. Within the black-and-white striped canvas tents is an utterly unique experience full of breathtaking amazements. It is called Le Cirque des RĂªves, and it is only open at night.

Pamela says: "The circus of your dreams"

After reading some of the reviews, I doubted I would like it.However, I adore listening to Jim Dale and think he could read a catalog and it would be an excellent listen.

Anyway, I went into this book not expecting much. However, it was a wonderful book that a delight for all 5 senses. It was a mastery of words but without overdoing the descriptions into tedium. The beauty of the story was in its subtlety. The author didn't try to bang you over the head with what you needed to know about the characters, plot, etc...rather it is a dance in which you must be an active participant by engaging your brain.

If you prefer heart pounding action, gore, lots of sex, or easily digestible material, this book is not for you.

Meet Stephanie Plum, a bounty hunter with attitude. Desperate for work, with her Miata repossessed and her refrigerator empty, she cons her way into a job as an "apprehension agent" for a bail bondsman. This best selling debut earned Evanovich nominations for the Edgar, Anthony, Agatha, Shamus, and Macavity awards.

    "Ok for quick listen"

Liked the narrator. The book was ok. Didn't love it, didn't hate it and it was easy to listen to on the train.

Gretchen Rubin had an epiphany one rainy afternoon in the unlikeliest of places: a city bus. "The days are long, but the years are short," she realized. "Time is passing, and I'm not focusing enough on the things that really matter." In that moment, she decided to dedicate a year to her happiness project.

A User says: "The gift that keeps on giving..."
    "Fascinating study of happiness"
    Overall

The book was an interesting and honest story and the science (or in some cases lack of science) behind Rubin's project to become happier. Rubin reads the book herself, which lends a personal touch, like you are getting to know her, not just her words. The writing is strong, the personal anecdotes great. I sometimes got a little annoyed at the over analyzing of every little nuance of every single little thing. That would make me a very unhappy person. However, Rubin clearly has a completely different personality than me. I did find some very helpful bits of info and insight that I will be using.
