For fans of Tina Fey and David Sedaris - Internet star Jenny Lawson, aka The Bloggess, makes her literary debut. Jenny Lawson realized that the most mortifying moments of our lives - the ones we'd like to pretend never happened - are in fact the ones that define us. In Let's Pretend This Never Happened, Lawson takes readers on a hilarious journey recalling her bizarre upbringing in rural Texas, her devastatingly awkward high school years, and her relationship with her long-suffering husband, Victor.

    D. S. Smith says: "How the Bloggess almost made me crash my car!"
    "This book is fragin hilarious!!"

Would you listen to Let's Pretend This Never Happened (A Mostly True Memoir) again? Why?

Absolutley!!! This book was so funny & entertaining! I've recomened this book to most of my friends and family(the cool ones).

What did you like best about this story?

The fact that it made me laugh out loud so many times. I'm sure my co-workers thought I was crazy.

What does Jenny Lawson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her personality. I love how she sings the titles of the chapters! It felt like she was just telling you stories of her life, not reading a book.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    F--k you Jenkins!

    Any additional comments?

I hope she writes another one!! Thanks for the laughs!

What disappointed you about The Woman in Black?

The narrator was really good, but the story itself left me wanting more. I just expected so much more to happen. But overall it was an alright story.

What was most disappointing about Susan Hill’s story?

I was expecting more ghost activity, & it was just a lil of this, a lil of that.

What does Paul Ansdell bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He read it with passion! You could actually hear the terror in his voice on the

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
