"Captivating and Well Read"
This book was a joy to listen to. It is well written, compelling, and informative. Narrator Malcolm Hillgartner is easy to listen to. As I listened, I sensed that the narrator was accurately presenting the material as the author intended and was truly interested in what he was reading. He drew me into the story and it was difficult to "put the book down", in an audio way of course. I will probably listen to this book again someday. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in Bonhoeffer or 20th century history.
"A Wonderful Story, Great Narration"
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The story took hold immediately and I didn't want to stop listening until finished (although I had to). Not only did I enjoy the story, but I was very pleased with the two narrators that were chosen. The book was read more like an audio dramatization than the usual "read the book aloud" narration. I was sorry when the book came to an end and will probably "read" it again many times. Kudos to all who were involved in the production of this book. One of the best listens I have had.
