I would never listen to another book read by Renee Raudman, I could barely listen to the first chapter and had to stop.
I can't comment since I couldn't get through the bad narration to listen to the story. I may eventually try to read the book but it's not likely after this experience.
Cynthia Halloway, Johanna Parker or maybe Gabra Zachman would work better as a narrator
The narration added to the story and brought it to life
Cassie Palmer is likable and relate-able with a good balance of strengths and weaknesses to be a heroine without being unbelievable due to perfection at all times.
She's great at distinctive voice/tone for each character in a story populated by a multitude. She strikes the right tone throughout her performance.
The whole series of books is very good so far, it has not flagged through book 5
I would recommend this audiobook because the story is interesting, unique and the characters are vivid.
Perhaps Karen Chance's Cassandra Palmer series with another strong female lead who isn't perfect but a true heroine
Is the promise of death by poison better than the noose?
Yes, the narrator is perfect for the tone of this story
The humor for a subject that's usually treated so seriously was great. From beginning to end it's entertaining and witty.
She does great character voices and hits the right tone throughout the performance. It's terrific, one of my favorite narrators.
Yes, and I listen to it repeatedly
