Three people living lives they never wanted, hiding secrets that even those closest to them would never suspect, will find that the past never truly fades away. Even as the terrible consequences of long-ago events crash together in the present and threaten to ruin lives, they will come to the startling realization that they may not want to forget the past at all.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Yes, get Scott to calm down.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

No. I read or listen to every Harlan Coben published. But this one, I gave up because Scott Brick tried to over dramatize every sentence from the opening. It got annoying.

What didn’t you like about Scott Brick’s performance?

He must think that reading a novel is like turning it into a one man Shakespeare play. Give the characters character, but let us listen. Don't overwhelm us with breath taking drama in every sentence of the book. It gets tiresome. Like, just read the book dude.

Was Stay Close worth the listening time?

No, I gave it up after 30 minutes. I am going to buy the book instead.

    Any additional comments?

Tell Scott Brick that he has a great voice, bit it is an Audio Book.

Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Literature, Margaret Mitchell's great novel of the South is one of the most popular books ever written. Within six months of its publication in 1936, Gone With the Wind had sold a million copies. To date, it has been translated into 25 languages, and more than 28 million copies have been sold. Here are the characters that have become symbols of passion and desire....

If you could sum up Gone with the Wind in three words, what would they be?

    Brilliant Performance

Who was your favorite character and why?

Rhett Butler, of course. Scarlette is a conniving brat, but I liked her too.

What does Linda Stephens bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She is a master at giving personality to the characters in the story.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No, I have seen the movie, so I knew what to expect. Still, there is much of the story that was missed in the production.
