Mr. Scott's narration of this classic is about the best I have heard.
Yes. Wild take on history. Things are not as they should be. History has been wrenched from its true path by a being from the future. Chaos ensues.
The battle at Burton's home with the clockwork man and the larger than life false heir. Pretty hair raising.
He reads this story with smoothness and great inflection. One of better narrators.
Really enjoyable premise. Richard Burton has always interested me and he is quite a pip even in this fictional setting.
The books are an example of how great sf/fantasy can be when done well.
Yes. Great premise. Something we all think about at some time. I know I do. Great that this guy tackles idea. What would we do????
General idea. Desire for resolution. Not sure he really does resolve issue. Goodness what would anyone do? Lots of open ended stuff flying around.
Good delivery in general.
Actually the first time he realizes he is going to go through life again.
Well worth listen. Gives a lot to think about.
Not knowing what would happen. Great narrative and plot.
The travails main character suffers for a moment of weakness.
The Thousand Year Autumn of Jacob De Zoet.
A somewhat difficult but great book. Different from anything I have read.
I hope not, but many things in this story may come to pass. A strange, fascinating tale. Best listened to slowly I'd say. Story is complicated and dismal but a terrific adventure. Do yourself a favor and listen....
